Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 500 ml. milk
- 75 gr. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 250 ml. heavy cream
- Sea salt (natural sea salt that does not contain preservatives)
- Blue and green food coloring
Step
Step 1. Separate the egg whites and yolks in two bowls
Step 2. Beat egg whites until stiff
Step 3. Put the sugar in the bowl with the egg yolks, mix well
Step 4. Pour milk into a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat
Stir occasionally.
Step 5. Pour a little milk into the egg yolk and sugar mixture, mix well
Step 6. Pour the egg yolk, sugar, and milk mixture into a saucepan with milk
Stir well until the texture thickens and turns into a custard.
Step 7. Pour the custard into the egg whites, mix gently
Step 8. Add enough sea salt to the ice cream mixture
Make sure you are able to create a balanced mix of sweet and salty; don't add too much salt!
Step 9. Put the dough in the refrigerator until the temperature is cold
While waiting, prepare ice cream molds and fill your time with fun things.
Step 10. Remove the dough from the refrigerator
Add heavy cream and vanilla extract.
Step 11. Add 12 drops of blue food coloring and 3 drops of green food coloring
Step 12. Pour the batter into the ice cream mold
After that, put the mold in the freezer or follow the instructions on the ice cream maker (if you made it with the help of a machine). Voila! Delicious ice cream is ready to eat!
