Ingredients
Simple Hot Chocolate
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup evaporated skim milk
- 3/4 tablespoon vanilla flavor
- A handful of small marshmallows
Mocha Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup instant espresso powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 6 cups milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
Hot Hot Chocolate
- 113 grams of chocolate without sugar
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 slice red bell pepper, seeds removed
Mexican Hot Chocolate
- 6 (354 ml) cans evaporated milk
- 4 tablespoons cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon nutmeg powder
- 2 (340 grams) bags of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch cocoa powder

Method 1 of 5: Simple Hot Chocolate
Step 1. Make the cocoa mixture
Combine 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar in a bowl. Stir the ingredients to mix well.
Step 2. Pour cup of water into another bowl or cup
Make sure the container is microwave safe.
Step 3. Microwave the water on high for 1 minutes or until the water boils
Step 4. Pour hot water into the cocoa mixture
Stir the mixture until smooth.
Step 5. Pour 2/3 cup evaporated skim milk into another cup
Microwave on high for 1 minute. Then, pour the warmed milk into a bowl of water and cocoa mixture.
Step 6. Add 3/2 tablespoons of vanilla essence

Step 1. Mix the first four ingredients together in a heavy pot
Combine 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup sugar, cup instant espresso powder, 1 tablespoon vanilla, 1 pinch salt, and 1 cup cold water in a heavy saucepan and heat the mixture over low heat.
Step 2. Whisk the ingredients
Continue to whisk the mixture until the cocoa powder dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy (slightly thick).
Step 3. Gradually add milk and heavy cream to the mixture
Add 6 cups hot milk and 2 cups hot heavy cream to the mixture over low heat, whisking ingredients together until hot but not boiling. Slowly add 1 cup of milk and cup of heavy cream and continue to add the remaining milk and heavy cream in small portions until all the ingredients are well combined.

Method 3 of 5: Hot Hot Chocolate
Step 1. Heat 2 cups of milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat
Heat until the milk is hot, but not boiling.
Step 2. Add 113 grams of chopped unsweetened chocolate and cup of sugar to the milk
Stir the ingredients together until smooth.
Step 3. Add tablespoon of cinnamon, tablespoon of chili powder, and 1 slice of red peppercorns removed to the mixture
Bring the ingredients to a boil.

Step 1. Whisk milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and nutmeg together in a large saucepan over medium heat
Whisk together 6 (354 ml) cans of evaporated milk, 4 tablespoons cinnamon powder, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon nutmeg powder together in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2. Add chocolate chips to the mixture
Add 2 (340 grams) bags of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the mixture. Stir in hot chocolate until chocolate melts.
Step 3. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes
This process will mix the ingredients together. Then remove the hot cocoa from the stove.
