Method 1 of 2: Checking Website TLS Version
Step 1. Open a web browser on your computer, phone or tablet
You can perform this test in any browser, including Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
Step 2. Visit
This free site can search the TLS version on any website on the internet.
Step 3. Enter the domain or IP address of the website
Type the address into the Hostname field at the top of the page.
If you don't want your domain or IP address to appear in SSL Labs' recent search list, check the box next to Do not show the results on the boards
Step 4. Click or tap Submit
The test will be conducted on the selected website. After the test is complete, you can see a summary report showing the security level of the website.
The test usually takes 3 minutes
Step 5. Scroll to the Configuration section of the page
This segment is under the Certificate segment.
Step 6. Look for all TLS versions marked Yes in the Protocols section
All TLS versions (whether supported or not) are shown at the top of the Configuration segment. All versions labeled Yes are already configured on the website.
Method 2 of 2: Checking TLS Version Support on Web Browser
Step 1. Open a web browser on your computer, phone or tablet
You can perform this test in any browser, including Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
Step 2. Visit
This tool will automatically check the browser and display a summary of the results of the inspection.
Step 3. Look for the version number under the heading Version
