Part 1 of 3: Finding Out Windows Version Through Run
Step 1. Press Win+R keys simultaneously
The Run dialog box will open on the computer.
Alternatively, you can right-click the "Start" menu and click " Run ”.
Step 2. Type winver and press Enter key or click OK
The "About Windows" option will open in a separate window.
Step 3. Check the operating system version
The Windows release version number will be displayed at the top of the “About Windows” window. This version is next to the " Version " section, while the build number is next to the text " Build ", to the right of " Version” (e.g. " Version 6.3 (Build 9600) "). Part 2 of 3: Finding Out Windows Version Through “Settings” Program
Step 1. Click the “Start” menu
This key is indicated by the Windows logo. By default, you can find this button in the lower-left corner of the Windows workbar. After that, the “Start” menu will be opened.

It's in the sidebar to the left of the Start menu. The “Settings” menu will be displayed afterwards.

Step 1. Click the “Start” menu
