Zoosk is known as a popular dating site, but what to do if you don't want to use the site anymore? Zoosk makes it a little difficult for you to delete an account, and you can only deactivate the account. You will then need to remove Zoosk's access to your Facebook profile, then contact Zoosk to permanently delete your account.

Method 1 of 3: Deactivating Zoosk Account
Step 1. Log into Zoosk
You must be logged in to deactivate the account. There is no way to permanently delete an account from the Zoosk site. You must first deactivate your account and then contact Zoosk service staff.
Step 2. Delete or change all your profile information
Since you can only deactivate a Zoosk account, it is recommended that you change all profile information so that they no longer match. This is to keep your personal information safe. Delete your name, location, profile photo, and other personal information.
Step 3. Open the Settings page
You can access it by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your Zoosk main page, then selecting "Settings".
Step 4. Look for the "Account Status" link in the Account section
Click the "Edit" link next to the "Active" message. Click the "Deactivate" link that appears. You will be taken to a page asking you to stay with Zoosk. Click the "Deactive Zoosk" button to deactivate the account.
Step 5. Enter your reasons
Zoosk asks you to enter the reason you want to deactivate. Enter any reason from the drop-down menu. You don't have to type in any additional information.
Method 2 of 3: Removing Zoosk from Facebook
Step 1. Log in to Facebook
if you have connected Zoosk to your Facebook account, you will need to revoke Zoosk's permission so that it does not appear in the news feed again. For that you have to log into Facebook.
Step 2. Open the Settings menu
You can access this by clicking the inverted triangle in the upper right corner of the Facebook home page and selecting "Settings".
Step 3. Click Apps
It's located in the left menu. Apps to open a list of all connected web apps that have access to a Facebook profile.
Step 4. Remove Zoosk
Look for Zoosk in the list and click the "X" to the right of the entry. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete Zoosk. To remove all Zoosk activity from your timeline, make sure that the box is checked and then click the "Remove" button.
Method 3 of 3: Contacting Zoosk To Make Sure Your Account Is Deleted
Step 1. Open the Contact page in Zoosk
To follow up with Zoosk and make sure your account will be completely deleted, you can email them your request. There's no guarantee that they'll follow through on that, but it can't hurt to try.
You can find the Contact page by scrolling to the bottom of the Zoosk website and selecting "Contact Us"
Step 2. Click the "Email Zoosk Customer Support" button
This opens a form where you can write a message to Zoosk. Politely request that your account be permanently deleted, and that you have no intention of activating it again in the future. Tell them that your account has been deactivated.
Please choose "Technical Support" or "Billing" as the subject of the letter
Step 3. Contact Zoosk
If there's no response to your email after a few days, return to the Contact page on Zoosk and look for their phone number. Call and ask to speak to staff who can help you permanently delete your account. Remember to remain calm and polite, or you may not receive good service.
Repeat this process every few days until there is confirmation that your account has been permanently deleted
