If you want to prank someone, try making itchy powder. You can make an itch powder using dried rose or maple seed antlers. You can also cut your hair into small pieces for a very itchy material.

Method 1 of 3: Using Roses
Step 1. Dry the roses
Cut the rose stem below the flower (approximately 2.5 cm). Place the roses in a dark place, such as in a cupboard, for 5-7 days or until they are completely dry.
Roses should look brown or dark in color, and feel brittle and rough
Step 2. Cut the roses
Remove the sepals and rose petals. Once removed, look for a brownish tuber in the center that is attached to the stem. This is the fruit of the rose.
The sepals are the green, leaf-like parts of the flower that protect the bud. It is located just below the flower petals
Step 3. Cut the rose in half
Before you cut the roses, wear rubber gloves to protect your hands. Use a knife or scissors to cut the rose in half, then slit again so you have four pieces. You'll be able to see a cotton-like substance called cythilicus, in the center.
This is the substance that causes itching
Step 4. Take cythilicus
Set a small cup on the table. Hold one of the rose pieces over the cup and use a toothpick to remove the cythilicus and drop it into the cup. Continue until you have removed all the cythilicus on the roses.
- Cythilicus is the cotton-like substance in roses.
- Do not touch your eyes and mouth after starting this process.
Step 5. Boil a cup of water
Pour a cup (240 ml) of water into a teapot and heat it on the stove over medium heat. After 5 minutes, the water should be boiling. Pour boiling water into a cup.
Step 6. Place the cup of water near the cup containing the cythilicus
Let the cythilicus soak up the steam for 10-15 minutes. The steam will help activate the itching properties of the cythilicus.
Make sure the cythilicus is not wet
Step 7. Dry the cythilicus
Place the cup of cythilicus on a windowsill in direct sunlight. Leave the cythilicus for 1-2 hours to dry.
Step 8. Crush the cythilicus into a powder
Pour the dried cythilicus onto a sheet of paper. Use a spoon to crush it into a powder. Then, put this powder in a sealed plastic or glass tube.
- Put a label that says, “DANGEROUS, DO NOT TOUCH OR DISPOSE” on the itchy powder packaging.
- Be sure to wash the spoon with soap and water after using it to make the powder.
Method 2 of 3: Using Maple Tree Seeds
Step 1. Prepare 15-20 maple seed horns
Look for maple trees or shrubs. Try to go around looking for maple trees and collect acorn horns, otherwise known as “propellers” because of the way they fall from the tree. Seed horns look like brown wings or helicopter blades.
During spring and summer, the seed horns are green and are still attached to the tree branches. Remove and place the seed horns on the windowsill until dry and browned
Step 2. Lay down a sheet of white paper
The paper will be used to hold the silver hairs attached to the wings of the seed horns. Silver hair is the source of itching.
To protect your hands, wear rubber gloves
Step 3. Remove the seeds and hard spines
Use scissors to remove the wings from the seeds. Also, cut the spines that extend along the edges of the wings.
Step 4. Rub the wings of the seed horns against each other
Take two wings and rub them together until the silver hairs fall. Continue until most of the silver hair falls onto the paper. Repeat on all wings until you have 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of silver hair.
You can also use a razor to shave silver hair. Run a razor blade over the wings to drop the silver hair
Step 5. Put the hair in a plastic bag
Remove the paper containing the silver hairs, and place it in a sealed plastic bag. Store hair in a dark place, for example in a closet, for 2-3 days until it dries well. This will increase the intensity of the itching.
- You can store silver hair in a glass tube.
- Put a label that says, “DANGEROUS, DO NOT TOUCH OR DISPOSE” on the itchy powder packaging.
Method 3 of 3: Using Hair
Step 1. Gather the strands of hair
Find a comb and pick up any hairs that are stuck there. After that, save it on a piece of paper.
Step 2. Cut the hair
Use scissors to cut the hair into small strands. Thus you get a pile of haircuts.
Step 3. Put the hair in the bag
Take the paper and put the hair in the sealed plastic. You can also store hair in envelopes. Store the bag in the cupboard for later use.
Tips
Do not use the microwave as it can destroy the structure of the cythilicus

- Wear gloves when making and handling itching powder.
- Do not let cythilicus get into your eyes or mouth or anyone else's. If so, immediately wash the affected eyes and mouth.
- Do not eat or drink cythilicus.
