Netflix has a relatively detailed signup process, but it's not verbose. You can create a Netflix account via a mobile device such as a smartphone or the Netflix website!

Method 1 of 2: Using the Netflix Website (Through a Desktop Computer)
Step 1. Go to the Netflix website
Step 2. Click Join Free for a Month
Step 3. Click the payment plan/plan
After the one month free usage period ends, you can access one of the following payment plans:
- ” Basic ” – Supports HD quality streaming services and access via one device at a cost of around 7.99 US dollars per month (around 110 thousand rupiah).
- ” Standard ” - Supports HD quality streaming services and access via two devices simultaneously at a cost of about 9.99 US dollars (approximately 150 thousand rupiah).
- ” Premium ” - Supports HD and Ultra HD quality streaming services, as well as access via four devices simultaneously. This package is offered at a cost of 11.99 US dollars per month (about 160 thousand rupiah).
Step 4. Click Continue
Step 5. Type in the email address
Make sure you enter an active email address that is still in use today.
Step 6. Type in the account password
Step 7. Click Register
Step 8. Enter payment information
You have three options:
- ” Credit or Debit Card ” – Enter your credit/debit card information, then click Start Membership.
- ” PayPal ” – Click Continue to PayPal, then enter your PayPal account information.
- ” Netflix Gift Card ” – Enter the gift card code and postal code of residence, then click Redeem Gift Card.
Step 9. Click the desired package
Step 10. Click Start Membership
You can also select the " Standard Definition " or " High-Definition Blu-Ray " option
Step 11. Type in the phone number
Step 12. Click Continue
Step 13. Click each appropriate device icon
This device can later be used to access Netflix.
Step 14. Click Continue
Step 15. Type in the username
This name is required by everyone who will use your account.
Step 16. Click Continue
Step 17. Click the three television shows you like
Step 18. Click Continue
Step 19. Review your Netflix page
Now your account is active!
There is no charge for using the Netflix service for the first month
Method 2 of 2: Using the Netflix App (on Mobile Devices)
Step 1. Open the Netflix app
Step 2. Tap Join Free for a Month
Step 3. Touch the payment option
After the one month free usage period ends, you will be charged through the following packages:
- ” Basic ” – Supports HD quality streaming services and access via one device at a cost of around 7.99 US dollars per month (around 110 thousand rupiah).

Step 4. Touch Continue
Step 5. Type in the email address
Make sure you use an email address that is active and still in use.
Step 6. Type in the password
Step 7. Touch Register
Step 8. Wait for the payment page to load
You may need to touch the Continue button and/or enter a password, depending on your phone's settings.
Step 9. Enter payment information
You can select " Visa ", " MasterCard ", " Amex ", " Discover ", or " None ", complete with the card number to be used.
Step 10. Complete the Netflix questionnaire
The information in this questionnaire includes your favorite movies and television shows, phone number, and the device that will be used to access the Netflix service.
Step 11. Return to Netflix main page
Your account is now active!
Tips
- You can use Netflix on a variety of devices, including computers, phones, tablets, smart TVs, and game consoles.
- To verify your phone number, click Send Code at the top of the Netflix page, check the messaging app on your phone for the code, and enter the code received in the Netflix code entry field.
Warning
- Do not use other people's Netflix account or debit/credit card information without the owner's express permission.
- Netflix will charge a monthly fee, unless you cancel using your account.
