Putting on witch makeup can be quite a tricky task, whether it's to give a spooky or sexy witch look. To look like a witch, all you have to do is put some basic makeup on your face, and then add a spooky or sexy touch to your look. So, how do you do it? Just follow these steps and your wizard appearance will have you giggling with delight in no time.

Method 1 of 2: Spooky Witch
Step 1. Tie your hair back
Unless you have short hair, you need to tie it away from your face. This will ensure that the makeup doesn't stain the hair close to the face. Tie it back into a ponytail, and tuck it behind your ear.
Step 2. Coat your face with green face paint
Start by taking a green water-based face paint and applying it to your face with a large brush. This paint should be a light green color and not too thick so you can add layers and texture over it. The paint should appear thin -- because it will thicken later.
- After applying the paint with the polish, you can coat it with a second coat. Use a large primer to spread the paint in a circular motion, to help avoid the fine lines that can appear as the paint dries.
- If you want to add fake warts to your face, you'll need to apply a prosthetic wart or bulging cereal grain to your face using spirit gum or special glue.
Step 3. Apply paint to your neck
Use the same large eyeshadow to paint your neck further past the clothing-covered area. This will keep your witch look consistent -- you don't want your authenticity to be ruined because your natural skin tone is showing under your chin.
Step 4. Sweep the paint on your ear
Use foundation polish to cover the inside of your ear with green paint. This may amaze you, but the end result will be more realistic. Even if your ears will be covered with hair, dyeing them green can make them more authentic.
Step 5. Sweep the paint on your ear
Use the same foundation liner to apply paint just below your hairline, so your natural skin tone doesn't peek over your head. Simply brush the paint around the hairline, being careful not to hit the hair.
Step 6. Use green bar cream to dab under your eyes
Look for a green cream bar with a golden tinge to cover the area under your eyes. You won't be able to reach those areas with the thick eyeshadow you used to color your face. This will help balance your eye color. You can use a sponge to fade the gold tint to a shiny metallic color. Then you can even out this color using a powder foundation.
Step 7. Apply yellow powder to your face
Now, take a sponge and fade the green paint by dabbing a light yellow color all over your face. First, dab the area under and above your eyes. Then, brush the yellow color all over the face and blend it using a powder foundation to mix it with the green base paint. This will make your face look more sinister and radiant, it will also add some nuance to the plain green.

Step 8. Make smoky eyes makeup
Draw a line outside the eyelid with a dark purple color that resembles black. Draw a line along the crease on the eyelid and connect it to the outside of the eyelid. Then, add a dark gold color to your lids to make them stand out. Draw a line on the bottom and top of the eyelid with black eyeliner. For a more extreme and scary look, you can use a dark red eyeliner.
Step 9. Add contours to your cheeks
Sweep the same shade of purple onto your cheeks and temples to create a hollow look. Sweep in the same place where you applied the rouge. You can also sweep it along the chin line.
Step 10. Emphasize the arch of your eyebrows
Witches have dramatic brow arches, so find the natural arch of your brows and define them with a black eyebrow pencil by raising them slightly and extending the brows past their natural length.
Step 11. Paint your lips
Apply a green lipstick to your lips and then cover it with a green lip pencil. After that, draw a line on the lips using a black lip pencil. You can even draw a short vertical black line on the lips to create a spooky chapped effect.
Step 12. Add the finishing touches
Balance the face by dabbing the uneven areas and brushing the eyeliner with black shadow once more after the eye makeup dries. If you want to apply false eyelashes, you can do so now, or you can wear thick mascara that gives the lashes a long look. Once the paint dries, you can untangle your hair and prepare the rest of your wizard costume.
Method 2 of 2: Sexy Witch
Step 1. Add a base color layer on your face
Use a foundation or sponge to sweep foundation and concealer over your face. You can choose a few shades lighter than your skin to create a pale and scary look. If you base your makeup with loose powder, your makeup will last longer.
Step 2. Create sexy eye makeup
To create sexy eyes, apply a tinge of dark or silver to your lids. Then, balance the colors by brushing black from the eyelids to the creases of the eyes. For a more dramatic look, you can extend the pop past the edges of the eye and even make it arch at the tip.

Use black eyeliner to create a mole under your lip, on the right or left of your chin. Just draw a small dot and rotate the pencil in a circle to make the dot rounder and wider.
