A fresh facial look will never go out of trend. If you want to please yourself with makeup or just want to try something new, 'natural makeup looks' will be perfect for you. Of course, even just a natural look takes a little time and practice to get it. Scroll down to Step 1 to get started!
Step
Method 1 of 3: Applying Makeup
Step 1. Clean your face from dirt or from the rest of the previous makeup
Wet a cotton ball with makeup remover or makeup remover for best results, and repeat by washing your face with cleanser if necessary. Wipe the cotton ball in small circular motions to remove old makeup. Determine your skin type, and clean, use toner, and moisturize with an appropriate product, twice a day. If you have skin problems like freckles/blackheads, exfoliate your skin regularly.
Step 2. Moisturize the face
Take a pea-sized amount of a pea-sized amount of an unscented, oil-free facial moisturizer or lotion, and apply it to a few spots on your face, then blend. Moisturizers that contain fragrance or fragrance can worsen facial skin conditions and cause acne or allergic reactions, and oily moisturizers will encourage acne.
For a more natural look, don't use foundation, just a colored moisturizer or tinted moisturizer. The tinted moisturizer will be absorbed and blend into the skin as well as even out your skin tone, and usually includes SPF too. Girls who are lucky to have fairer skin will look their best with a tinted moisturizer
Step 3. Apply concealer to any blemishes on your face and around your eyes
Applying concealer before foundation will help keep foundation wear to a minimum. Make sure the color is exactly the same as your skin. When you apply concealer, apply it directly to the blemishes or dark areas you want to hide, not around them. This is to avoid the halo effect and which actually emphasizes the stain. After that, you can set it with cream or beige powder.
Be careful not to overdo the concealer; You only need enough to cover the stain
Step 4. Apply a powder or solid foundation on the oily parts of your face
Before you start, it's a good idea to see if you're using the right shade of foundation. Look for natural light from the sun and test the foundation to make sure it's the right color for your skin. Apply a small amount on the cheeks and tilt the face in different positions to see if the color matches.
- Sweep your fingers or a foam sponge on foundation, and apply to face, blending until it looks like your skin tone. Make sure to smooth it down below the jawline; if you stop at the edge of the face, there will be a clear line indicating the finish line of the foundation so you will look like you are wearing a mask.
- If you have bags or dark areas under your eyes, make 3 dots with foundation on the circle line under your eyes. Gently blend with ring finger.
Step 5. Apply bronzer
Some people wait until after applying eye makeup to add bronzer or blush. Bronzer is great for giving your face a natural glow. Lightly brush bronzer all over your face (or just along your cheekbones and T-Zone for a naturally tanned look). Bronzer can look odd on people with pale skin if applied incorrectly. Practice using bronzer at home to see if it's good on your skin before going out with it. If you don't like how it looks on your face, skip this step.
Step 6. Apply blush
If bronzer doesn't work, you can just apply blush or blush instead. Cream blushes are generally better than powder blushes because they give a natural 'moist' look and shine and last longer. Use a champagne cream blush, rub a little on your ring finger, and blend into the cheekbones. Note that you shouldn't apply blush and bronzer at the same time; select one.
Method 2 of 3: Applying Eye Makeup
Step 1. Draw a line along your upper lash line with a brown, black or gray kohl pencil
Some women choose not to do this because eyes with eyeliner look a little less natural than eyes with mascara alone. Other beauty specialists say to line your eyes with a brownish gel eyeliner. Pencil eyeliner looks less natural than liquid or gel eyeliner, and gel is easier to blend. Line along two thirds of your upper lash line and one third of your lower lash line. Blend the lines with a cotton bud.
Step 2. Use white eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger
Cover the inner corners of your eyes with white eyeliner or white eyeshadow to make your eyes look brighter.
Some people also like to add a little eyeliner or white eyeshadow under the brow bone to make their eyes look brighter and more awake
Step 3. Consider using eyeshadow
Use two shades of eyeshadow for a professional look. The color you choose should be gold, brown, or silver, depending on your skin tone. Apply a light neutral color all over your eyelid and just above your crease, and use a slightly darker shade to gently outline the top crease of your eyelid. For a natural look, remember to mix the colors.
Step 4. Curl your lashes and apply a single coat of mascara
Curling your lashes will give your eyes a bright, awake look. If you want to make your lashes stand out against your skin, apply a coat of your favorite mascara.
If you use mascara, avoid clumping by using a non-clumping brush or an eyebrow brush
Method 3 of 3: Applying Lip Makeup
Step 1. Apply a light nude color lipstick
Avoid using thick lipstick or glossy lip gloss. Lip stains are generally the best because they look natural and last all day. Use lip color with a color that is close to the natural lip color.
Step 2. Apply a small amount of shimmering blush to the center of your lips
Test this step at home before you go on to use it - some people don't like the look of the blush in the center of the lips. Do what feels (and looks) best to you!
Step 3. Enjoy your fresh, moisturised and glowing skin
Tips
- Just relax. Constantly checking your look in the mirror and complaining about your face can ruin your day. Smile, and have high self-confidence.
- Try using the same color for blush and lipstick. This will highlight the natural features of your face.
- Make up in the same light as where you will be later; for example, make your face bright if you're going out on a sunny day, or if you're going clubbing, use dim lights.
- Using natural make-up will be healthier for the skin and can reduce blemishes on the face. In fact, mineral foundations won't clog pores, and are actually great for your skin, so you might want to invest in a good brand.
- Ask a trusted friend to tell you if you've been using too much make-up.
- Don't overdress! Remember, makeup is meant to enhance the natural features of your face, not to cover them up.
- Make sure you put your makeup in a sunny place with bright natural sunlight so you can see all your features clearly.
- Try to find makeup that is as close to your skin tone as possible.
