This wikiHow teaches you how to install the trial version of the Yandere Simulator game on a Windows computer. While the official version is still under development, you can run this unfinished sandbox (trial) version by downloading the launcher file from the developer.

Step 1. Launch a web browser and visit
This is the official Yandere Simulator site hosted by the developer.
- The official version hasn't been released yet, but it will most likely be released in 2021.
- Some antivirus programs may consider Yandere Simulator a virus because it is not officially marked by the developer. This is fine as long as the file is downloaded from the developer's official website. A safe place to download it is https://yanderedev.wordpress.com/downloads or https://dl.yanderesimulator.com/latest.zip. Always double-check any application downloaded over the internet.
Step 2. Click Download
This tab is located at the top center of the page.
Step 3. Scroll down the screen and click Download Launcher
You'll find a pink button in the middle of the page. Doing so will allow your computer to download the game launcher.
Maybe you should click Save to start the download.
Step 4. Click the file you just downloaded
The file will be placed in your computer's downloads folder (usually named Downloads).
Step 5. Click Yes in the security message that appears
The Yandere Simulator launcher will launch, and start downloading the files you need to be able to play the trial version of the game.
Step 6. Click Play when the download is complete
The progress of the download can be seen in the indicator displayed at the bottom center of the window. When all files have been downloaded, run the game by clicking Play.
Tips
- Move the character using the W+A+S+D keys on the keyboard.
- Move the mouse (mouse) to move the camera.
- To run, hold down the left Shift key.
- Select a weapon using the 1+2+3+4 keys.
