These days, Opera Mini is a very popular web browser. However, Opera Mini cannot download videos from YouTube. Read this guide to download YouTube videos through Opera Mini.

Method 1 of 2: Changing URL
Step 1. Visit YouTube by clicking this link
Step 2. Find the YouTube search bar, then enter the name of the video you want to download
Step 3. Select a video from the search results
Don't click the option to watch the video.
Step 4. Open the browser address bar, where you enter the site address
You'll see addresses starting with (m.)
Step 5. Substitute (m
) with (ss) (without the dot).
Step 6. Click OK
You will see a new page. On that page, you can download YouTube videos.
Step 7. Select the video format you want, then click the Download button
Step 8. Opera Mini will ask you to select a file storage location
Select a save location to start downloading videos.
Method 2 of 2: Using JavaScript
Step 1. Open Opera Mini
Step 2. Visit YouTube
Step 3. Select Bookmarks (#5) from the Opera Mini menu
This shortcut is available for Opera Mini 6 and above.
Step 4. Add a bookmark with the name YouTube download
Step 5. Replace the URL with JavaScript which you can find on Blogspot
Step 6. Save the bookmark
Step 7. Select the YouTube video you want to download
Step 8. Scroll down and select Desktop View or Classic View
Step 9. Open the browser settings, then turn on the Single Column View option
Step 10. Reload the page
Step 11. Select the bookmark you have saved
Step 12. You will see a download box at the bottom of the screen
Click Download to select a file storage location. The video will start downloading.
