Adobe Acrobat lets you rotate pages in a PDF file with just a few clicks. This cool feature is available in all the latest versions of Acrobat. Read this article to learn how to rotate pages with Adobe Acrobat.
Step
Step 1. Open the Rotate Pages dialog box by following one of the following methods:
- Click the Tools menu > Pages > Rotate.
- From the navigation pane, select the Page Thumbnails panel > Options > Rotate Pages.
Step 2. Set the direction and degree of rotation
You can choose between Counterclockwise 90 Degrees, Clockwise 90 Degrees, or 180 Degrees.
Step 3. Select the page you want to rotate
You can rotate the entire page in the PDF, selected pages, or pages with a specific number.
Step 4. Select the page number you want to rotate from the Rotate menu
You can rotate odd, even, or all pages in the file. In this menu, you can also select the page orientation.
This setting is essential to enable any page rotation feature. For example, if you select the Portrait Pages option in the Rotate list, and the selected page is landscape-oriented, the page will not rotate
Step 5. Click OK
The page you selected will rotate according to the selected orientation.
Method 1 of 2: Via Keyboard Shortcut
Step 1. Hold down Ctrl+⇧ Shift and press - to rotate the page to the left of the appropriate orientation.
Step 2. Hold down Ctrl+⇧ Shift and press + to rotate the page to the right in the appropriate orientation.
Method 2 of 2: Using PDF Shaper Professional
Step 1. Select Rotate Pages
Step 2. Click Add to add the file
Step 3. Mark the page you want to rotate in the Options menu
Tips
- To temporarily rotate the page view, use the View menu > Rotate View > Clockwise or Counterclockwise. When you reopen the PDF, the page will return to its original appearance.
- With keyboard shortcuts, you can only rotate the page 90 degrees.
