It's easy to complete the "Parasite Plague" mode on the "Normal" difficulty, and the solution to the "Brutal" difficulty is to use the same method you used to complete the game on the "Normal" difficulty. The process of completing the game takes as long as completing the "Fungus" mode, because you have to wait until the entire Earth is completely infected using the genes you have unlocked. Gene Modifiers from "Genetic Code" can be unlocked after completing certain levels. If the "Parasite" mode is already playable, it means that you have completed the previous level and and you have also gained access to the new gene modifier.

Part 1 of 4: Starting the Game
Step 1. Create a new game
Select the "New Game" option and then select "Parasite".
If you have a data save from a previous game, it will be replaced with a new one and cannot be retrieved. Select " Brutal Mode " for the level option, then proceed to the Plague naming stage
Step 2. Modify the Genetic Code
At this stage, you can determine the Genetic Code that will be used by Plague. Genes can be unlocked after completing the previous level.
- You can refer to the guide below to set the Genetic Code, but you can determine the Genetic Code yourself that you think is effective for completing this level.
- In the DNA Genes section, select the option “Cytochrome Surge. This option allows you to get more DNA when popping the orange DNA.
- In the Travel Gene section, the Teracyte option is recommended, as it can increase the chances of Plague spreading on land. Plague infections can spread across borders as long as there are sufficient hosts.
- In the Evolution Gene section, we recommend that you select the Sympto-Stasis option. This option will make Plague easier to cure, but later each Symptom developed will not increase the requirement for the amount of DNA needed to develop another Symptom. This step is a very important stage in carrying out the strategy that will be used to complete this mode. You don't have to worry about Cure's development percentage, because at this level the way to complete the game is to secretly spread Plague around the world.
- Select Genetic Mimic in the Mutation Gene section. Genetic Mimics will make Parasites more difficult to cure, making them a good choice for dealing with Sympto-Stasis deficiencies.
- Lastly, Extremophile is the best choice for Environment Gene. Extremophile gives a small bonus to all the environments that Plague infects so that it can give the Parasite a little help when he tries to enter a country with different weather.
Part 2 of 4: Spreading the Plague on the First Country
Step 1. Start spreading Plague in India
India is the best starting country that Plague Inc. players like the most, because the country has a large population and has access to airports and ports. China could be a good alternative country, but on some levels, the rate of Plague spreading there is very slow.
- If you choose India, the most likely infected country after India is China. Plague can spread quickly and effectively in India, as the country has multiple hosts.
- After selecting the first infected country, pop the red and yellow bubbles to collect DNA.
- Don't forget to speed up the speed of the game. You can find the option to speed up the game speed at the top right of the screen.
Step 2. Develop (Evolve) Symbiosis
Note that each Plague type has a unique ability that gives it a huge advantage. Parasites have a Symbiosis that allows Plague to adapt to the host so that it is increasingly difficult to find its existence. Develop Symbiosis to level 3.
- Keep popping bubbles until you collect enough DNA.
- Do not develop Symptom or Transmission until you have developed Symbiosis to the last level.
Step 3. Develop Cyst and Anaemia
You can develop Cyst and Anaemia after developing Symbiosis up to level 3. You can find these Symptoms in the DNA window and then select the "Symptoms" tab..
- Cysts are clumps containing a collection of painful pathogens that have little chance of bursting so that they can spread Parasites. Basically, this symptom can increase the infectiousness of Plague.
- Anemia can reduce red blood cells or hemoglobin in the blood so that it can cause hypoxia in the body's organs. Like Cyst, this Symptom can increase infectiousness.
- Basically, developing Symptom in the early part of the game can make humanity aware of Plague's presence so that they will quickly develop Cure before you manage to infect the rest of the world. However, by using the Parasite's Symbiosis ability, Plagues that have level 1 and level 2 symptoms will be harder to find.
Step 4. Develop Water and Water
Once you've developed Cyst, you can now use pathogens. As previously discussed, the Cyst contains a clot that releases pathogens when it explodes.
To increase communicability, you must develop Water and Water. This gene can be found in the "Transmissions" tab. Evolve Water to Level 1 and then evolve Water to Level 2
Step 5. Devolve the very lethal symptom
Plague has the opportunity to mutate so that it can open new Symptom randomly. That's a good thing, because the mutated gene won't reduce the DNA, but make sure you Devolve the lethal symptom.
A lethal symptom will bully the researchers so they will start focusing their research on creating a cure so they can eradicate the Plague, so make sure the symptom has a low lethal effect
Part 3 of 4: Making Defenses
Step 1. Develop Drug Resistance
As is well known, Plague has a low spread rate despite having a high Transmission level. This is due to the treatment carried out by the inhabitants to fight the Parasites.
To stop the resident treatment, develop Drug Resistance 1 in the "Abilities" tab. After that, Plague can spread to other countries at a fairly fast speed, especially in poor countries
Step 2. Develop Cold Resistance
One of the obstacles to the spread of Plague to other countries is the weather. Develop Cold Resistance to level 2.
- This ability can strengthen the Parasite so that it can spread quickly to countries that have cold temperatures such as Canada, Greenland and others. Don't forget to Devolve the Symptom which has a lethal effect.
- You don't have to develop Heat Resistance, because you spread Plague in India so it is immune to warm weather. Save the DNA for the end of the game.
Step 3. Develop Hypersensitivity
Use DNA to develop Hypersensitivity, because this symptom can increase the infectiousness of Plague.
After doing this step, go back to the game and pop more bubbles and wait until the whole country is infected, or until the message " There are no healthy people left in the world " appears on the screen
Part 4 of 4: Ending Humanity
Step 1. Develop very lethal symptoms
After getting the message "There are no healthy people left in the world", it's time to develop a deadly symptom.
Go to the "Symptoms" tab and then develop the following Symptoms: Paralysis, Total Organ Failure, and Coma. The symptom will immediately kill people and Cure's research rate will also increase
Step 2. Use additional DNA
When the population starts to decline, you will get quite a lot of DNA. Use this DNA to develop Hemorrhaging, Hemorrhagic Shock, and Necrosis. You don't have to worry about Cure's development percentage.
Step 3. Ensure that Cure's development rate percentage remains low
All countries will work together to create Cure. You can stop their efforts by developing the Genetic Hardening and Genetic Reshuffle abilities.
