SkyBlock is one of the most popular survival maps in Minecraft. In this map, the player must survive on a small landmass in the sky with very few resources. Method 1 of 3: Installing and Loading the Skyblock Map (for Singleplayer mode)
Step 1. Search for Skyblock maps on the internet
Go to https://www.google.com and type skyblock map into the search bar to find websites that provide the latest version of SkyBlock maps. Here are some websites that you can visit to download SkyBlock maps:

Step 2. Download the Skyblock map
Once you've found the SkyBlock map you want, click the download button to download the ZIP file containing the map file.
Step 3. Show hidden files and folders (for Windows only)
If you're using Windows, you may have to reveal hidden files and folders to be able to open the Minecraft "save" folder.
Step 4. Extract the map file to Minecraft's "save" folder
Use an archive file extracting program, such as Winzip, WinRAR, or 7-Zip, to extract the entire contents of the ZIP file into Minecraft's "save" folder. This folder is in one of the following locations, depending on the operating system and version of Minecraft you are playing. Note that the "" folder refers to your username used on Windows, MacOS, or Linux.

Step 5. Run Minecraft
Double-click the Minecraft launcher program (for the Java Edition) or the Minecraft icon (for the Bedrock Edition or Windows 10) to launch the game. If this program or icon is not on the desktop, click the Minecraft icon in the Start menu (for Windows) or in the Applications folder (for Mac).
Step 6. Click the Play button
It's a green button at the bottom of the Minecraft launcher window. If you're playing a Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 version of Minecraft, this button may be grayed out.
Step 7. Click the Single Player button (Java Edition version of Minecraft only)
In the Java Edition version of Minecraft, click the button Singleplayer to display the Singleplayer map.
Step 8. Click the SkyBlock map
Once extracted to Minecraft's "save" folder, the SkyBlock map will appear in the save data list in Minecraft. Click the SkyBlock map to load it.
Some maps created in the Java Edition of Minecraft may not load properly in Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 Minecraft and vice versa
Step 9. Click the Play Selected World button (Java Edition version of Minecraft only)

Method 2 of 3: Connecting the Game with Skyblock Server (for Multiplayer mode)
Step 1. Search for SkyBlock Minecraft servers on the internet
Go to https://www.google.com and search for Minecraft Skyblock server keyword. After that, you will see a list of websites that contain a list of SkyBlock servers. If you're playing a Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 version of Minecraft, add Windows 10 or Bedrock to the password. This will display a list of websites containing a list of Minecraft servers. Step 2. Click the Copy button under the server you want to use
Almost all websites that list Minecraft servers have a "Copy" button under each server. Clicking this button will copy the server address or IP address.
For Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 versions of Minecraft, you'll need to copy the server address, and also click on the server banner and take note of the port number
Step 3. Run Minecraft
Double-click the Minecraft launcher program (for the Java Edition) or the Minecraft icon (for the Bedrock Edition or Windows 10). If this program or icon is not on the desktop, click the Minecraft icon in the Start menu (for Windows) or in the Applications folder (for Mac).
Step 4. Click the Play button

Step 6. Click the Add Server button
You can find it at the bottom right of the multiplayer menu in the Java Edition of Minecraft. If you're playing a Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 version of Minecraft, this button is at the top of the server list.
Step 7. Enter the server information
Type the name of the SkyBlock server in the "Server name" field and paste the server address into the "Server address" field. If you're playing a Bedrock Edition or Windows 10 version of Minecraft, you'll need to enter the port number into the "Port" field.
Step 8. Click the Save button or button Done.
Clicking on it will save the server to the server list. Click button Save if playing Minecraft vers Bedrock Edition or Windows 10, or click the button Done if you play the Java Edition of Minecraft.
Step 9. Click the Minecraft server that has been added

Step 11. Follow the instructions
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to start the Skyblock game. However, note that each server has different instructions. Most likely these instructions consist of commands used to create a new SkyBlock island or enter an existing SkyBlock island. Press the T key to open a terminal where to enter commands. Method 3 of 3: Playing Skyblock Mode
Step 1. Use a settling motion to keep it from falling off the edge of the island
You can settle by holding down the shift key while moving.
Step 2. Collect tree seedlings (Sapling) from the first tree
Tree seeds are used to grow new trees which are needed to make various tools. Therefore, if you fail to get this item, you will have to restart the game from the beginning. Destroy the leaves on the tree to get tree seeds.
Step 3. Collect the wood from the first tree
After collecting some tree seedlings by crushing the leaves, crush the logs by hand to collect wood.
Step 4. Plant the tree seed in the dirt block furthest from the area where you appear in the game world
This is done to keep the tree away from the lava and to prevent the tree (and apples and tree seedlings) from burning.
You can increase your chances of getting tree seedlings by placing a few blocks of soil around the tree. This will prevent the tree seedlings from falling into the ravine
Step 5. Collect wood and tree seedlings each time the tree grows up
When the tree seedlings grow into mature trees, collect the tree seeds and wood by destroying the tree. After that, plant a tree seed to get a new tree.
Step 6. Create a Crafting Table
When you have gathered enough wood, make a Crafting Table that is used to make various tools and items.
Make sure you save two blocks of wood (don't turn them into planks of wood [Plank]) to make charcoal (Charcoal)
Step 7. Make a wooden pickaxe (Wooden Pickaxe)
Use some wood to make wooden planks and sticks (Stick). After that, use these two items to make a wooden pickaxe.
Step 8. Create a pool of water measuring 2 x 2 blocks
You can make a pool of water with two blocks of ice stored in a chest. You should have enough earth blocks to make a pool of water that is 2 x 2 blocks. However, you can also use wooden plank blocks placed away from the lava if needed. The pool of water that is created will be a source of water that will never run out because the water taken from this pool will be filled automatically.
Step 9. Create a Cobblestone Generator
One of the easiest ways to do this is to dig the first hole which is 4 blocks wide and the second hole which is 2 blocks deep. After that, fill the first hole with lava and put water into the second hole.

Step 10. Get Cobblestone from Cobblestone Generator
You can produce mines by mixing water with lava.
You can combine a water source and a Cobblestone Generator if you wish
Step 11. Create a furnace (Furnace or Kiln)
Use the Crafting Table to create a furnace from eight Cobblestone blocks. After that, use the stove to burn a block of wood to make charcoal. You can make a torch (Torch) by combining charcoal and wooden sticks in the Crafting Table.
Step 12. Create a fishing rod (Fishing Rod)
Use a wooden stick and some string (String) stored in the chest to make a fishing rod. You can use a fishing rod to catch fish while waiting for the garden to produce vegetables.
Step 13. Create and keep collecting Cobblestone
Once you get a large number of Cobblestones, increase the area of the island so you can collect the dirt blocks that are at the bottom of the island. Do this carefully so that the Cobblestone Generator is not damaged.
- NOTE: You can double the island's area with less materials if you make a Cobblestone Slab. This method can also be used to prevent enemies from appearing in dark areas.
- NOTE: You only have a limited number of ground blocks. One way to prevent blocks of dirt from falling into the abyss is to create a large area under the island to accommodate falling items.
- You can do this by making a hole by destroying one of the Cobblestones and putting water in the hole. This will create a waterfall that can be used to swim to the bottom of the island.
- Swim to the bottom of the island and build a pole by placing 4 Cobblestone blocks. Swim up to the surface to breathe and then swim down to lay down the Cobblestone blocks one by one perpendicular to a pillar.
- Get out of the water and fetch water with a bucket.
- Place the ladder (Ladder) and go down to the pillar that has been built to enlarge the lower part of the SkyBlock island.
- You can continue to zoom in on the lower part of the island. This area can be darkened to spawn enemies or filled with torches to prevent enemies from appearing.
Step 14. Consider spawning enemies
You can spawn enemies by building a dark area. By fighting enemies, you can get various items, such as thread, Bone Meal used to cultivate plants, special tools, and so on.
Step 15. Consider creating a special area where animals appear
We recommend that this area be created in a distant place within 24 blocks of the main area. This area is used to spawn animals that can be used as a source of food and goods.
Step 16. Continue the rest of the game at your own pace
Once you've mastered how to survive on SkyBlock, you can play however you want. You can expand your house, spawn a large number of enemies, and more. Skyblock mode ends when you have completed all the challenges, or can't continue the game any further without cheating.
Tips
- Make sure that not a single dirt block falls into the abyss. Remember that the number of ground blocks in SkyBlock is very limited.
- You can collect iron (Iron) in large quantities by creating a village (Village) and spawning residents (Villager). When the village has enough inhabitants, Iron Golems will appear to protect them. You can fight Iron Golems to get iron.
- If you accidentally turn lava into Obsidian, right-click Obsidian to turn it back into lava.
- If you've never built a Cobblestone Generator before, check out this item's design online so you don't accidentally turn lava into Obsidian.
- Cover the water source to prevent it from freezing or place a torch near it. You can put a block on the water to do this. You can also place a few blocks above the garden area to prevent snow from covering it.
- In Minecraft version 1.0 and later, animals will appear in areas 24 blocks away from you. Therefore, you may not be able to spawn beasts in SkyBlock. Instead, you can create a dark room to spawn enemies. Fight enemies to get yarn that can be made into wool (Wool). In addition, you can also use the garden to make bread.
- It's best not to destroy grassy areas until you can create a plantation area that is used to collect seeds and spawn animals. The dirt block can turn into a grass block by itself. Note that if you want to spawn an animal, you'll need to create an area of dirt blocks that is 24 blocks away from you. Don't forget to put a torch so that enemies don't appear. Place a dirt block or grass block that is at least 5 x 5 and wait for the animals to appear. Kill useless animals so that other useful animals can appear. Horses and donkeys are useless animals because the saddle cannot be obtained in SkyBlock. One example of a useful animal is the sheep because you can get wool and lamb (Mutton) from it.
Warning
- Enemies will appear in an area 24 blocks away from you. Therefore, place torches around you to prevent them from appearing and attacking you.
- You can't sleep on SkyBlock if you're playing on a server because other players are playing there.
- Take care of the bucket carefully because you won't be able to get it again.
