WeChat is an alternative messaging program where you can talk, send messages, and video chat with other users without having to pay. All WeChat needs is an active internet connection. You can download the WeChat app for free on the App Store. Also, creating a WeChat account doesn't take long.

Step 1. Install the WeChat app
You can download and install WeChat for free from the App Store or from iTunes. You can look for instructions on how to install the app on your device.
You can find WeChat easily by searching for it in the App Store. You can install and use WeChat for free, but you may have to pay for the use of a data connection
Step 2. Open WeChat
Once you have WeChat installed, open the app from the Home screen.
Step 3. Press the "Sign Up" button
This button will open the account creation screen.
Step 4. Enter your area and phone number
Make sure you enter your phone number correctly, because the phone number is needed to send the confirmation code. Press "Sign Up" when you are done.
Step 5. Wait for the incoming SMS
You will be sent an SMS with a code. You may have to wait a few minutes to receive it.
Step 6. Enter the code
Enter the code you received via SMS. This step completes the account creation process, and you can start adding contacts.
