This wikiHow teaches you how to log into your WeChat account on your Android phone or tablet.

Method 1 of 2: Using Password
Step 1. Open WeChat
The app is marked by a green icon with two speech bubbles labeled “WeChat”. You can find it on your device's home screen or app drawer.
Step 2. Touch Log In
It's a green button at the bottom of the screen.
If you see your profile photo and/or phone number instead of the “Log In” button, touch “ More ” at the bottom of the screen, then select “ Switch Account " You should now see fields for entering your phone number and password.
Step 3. Enter the phone number
The country code will be filled in automatically.
If the code displayed is incorrect, touch “ Country/Region ”, then select the appropriate country code.
Step 4. Enter the password
Step 5. Touch Log In
Now, you are logged in to your WeChat account.
Method 2 of 2: Using Text Messages
Step 1. Open WeChat
The app is marked by a green icon with two speech bubbles labeled “WeChat”. You can find it on your device's home screen or app drawer.
If you don't remember your weChat account password, use this method to sign in using the code from the short message. You have the opportunity to reset your password after logging into your account
Step 2. Touch Log In
It's a green button at the bottom of the screen.
If you see your profile photo and/or phone number instead of the “Log In” button, touch “ More ” at the bottom of the screen, then select “ Switch Account " You should now see fields for entering your phone number and password.
Step 3. Touch Log in via SMS
It's at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Enter the phone number
WeChat requires your phone number in order to send the confirmation code.
If the code displayed is incorrect, touch “ Country/Region ”, then select the appropriate country code.
Step 5. Touch Next
Now, you will see a column labeled “Code”. In a few moments, you will receive a short message with a code to enter in the field.
Step 6. Type the code into the field
You need to open the short message to see the code.
Step 7. Touch Next
WeChat will verify the code and take you to the password reset page.
Step 8. Type the new password in the first field
Step 9. Type the same password in the second field
Step 10. Touch Done
Now, you have successfully logged into your WeChat account.
