Do you have an old stereo system? Take advantage of it by attaching it to the television for better sound!

Step 1. Place the stereo unit near the TV, then plug it into the mains
Step 2. Pull the red and white TV output RCA cable and plug it into the RCA port on the back of the stereo system
Select an unused input. CD, AUX, Line In can be used, but avoid input record player (phono).
Step 3. Select the stereo mode on the TV
Step 4. Place the speakers around the room
Plug it into the output on the stereo unit, then hide the cable under the rug or anywhere else you like.
Step 5. If you are confused and don't have a TV manual, search the internet for the manual by the model number of the TV, or search carefully for the input, output, and model number of the device using a flashlight
Some jacks may be hidden on the back, or sides, or both, or in front of the TV.
