This wikiHow teaches you how to remove the Netflix app from your Samsung smart television or Samsung smart TV. You can remove it from the app's settings menu. Depending on the TV model, Netflix may be a built-in app that can't be uninstalled.
Step
Step 1. Press the Home button on the TV controller (remote)
This button has an image that looks like a house. If you press it, it will take you to the Smart Hub menu on the television.
Step 2. Select Application
This icon has an image of four squares at the bottom left corner of the Smart Hub. This icon will also show a list of all TV applications.
Step 3. Select the settings menu
This icon looks like a gear in the upper right corner of the screen. This menu selection will display all existing applications centrally. Also, a menu will appear when you highlight an application.
Step 4. Select the Netflix app
Use the arrow keys on the TV controller to highlight Netflix from the list of installed applications. You will see a menu under the Netflix app when you highlight it.
Step 5. Select Delete
This button is the first option that appears under the Netflix app in the settings menu.
If this option is grayed out, you can't remove Netflix from your TV because the app is built-in to your device
Step 6. Select Delete again
Select “Delete” from the pop-up menu to confirm deletion of the app. After this, the application will be deleted.
