Warren Buffett is known as a successful investor and his work as a generous man. Your options are limited if you wish to contact him, and there is no guarantee of a reply from him. However, if you decide to reach out to him with an investment proposal, a donation request, or some other purpose, there are a few different ways you can go about it.

Method 1 of 4: Berkshire Hathaway Inc
Step 1. Write him a letter
The postal delivery address available to the general public is the address of its office, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. He is the owner of the company, president director, and CEO.

- Address the letter to Warren Buffett at the opening of the letter. He may not open your letter right away, but the staff member who opens and reads your message will at least know that you want to contact Mr. Buffet directly.
Step 2. Send an email
Although Warren Buffett does not have a personal email address and reportedly never checks the email address of Berkshire Hathaway, there is some possibility that messages sent to Berkshire Hathaway's email address will reach him if the content of the email is sufficiently important.

- Please note that there is a statement on the website stating that employees at the company's office cannot reply to email responses directly.
- The email address is used only for questions or comments regarding the Berkshire Hathaway Inc website. Only email as a last resort to contact Warren Buffett; try to send a letter by post; If possible.
Step 3. Know what your expectations are
When you write to Mr Buffett using the contact information of Berkshire Hathaway, your letter may not reach him. He receives about 250 to 300 letters a day, all of which must pass through various staff members before reaching Mr Buffett's desk.
- Requests are rarely answered. Includes personal letters, donation requests, and most investment proposals.
- If you make a donation request, contact Buffett through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is the caretaker of the foundation and works closely with Gates to develop a donation distribution strategy.

The only way your letter will be read and replied to is if you write an investment proposal that meets the investment criteria set by Warren Buffett as stated in his annual letter to shareholders.

- The acquisition must be a major purchase.
- Businesses must demonstrate the ability to consistently generate revenue.

Method 2 of 4: The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
Step 1. Contact the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a donation request
Warren Buffett is a board member of the foundation and has great influence within the organization. Moreover, most of the donations made by him are channeled through this foundation.
- Note that most letter requests will not receive a reply, so you may not receive a reply.
- When writing a letter to a foundation, you should use the "For Whom It Matters" letterhead. Warren Buffett will not directly check letters sent to the foundation, nor will Bill or Melinda Gates.
- In the body of your message, In the first paragraph, say that you want the letter to be forwarded to Warren Buffett.

- Like his Twitter page, Warren Buffett doesn't always check or update his Facebook page. In fact, it's still a matter of speculation if he did all that himself. If you're using Facebook as a way to contact them, only post short comments or specific notes that don't require a reply.
- You may have to “Like” Warren Buffett's page before you can write on the timeline.
Method 4 of 4: Meeting Warren Buffett
Step 1. Join the MBA program
While there's no guarantee that pursuing a Master of Business Administration will allow you to meet Warren Buffett, it's the best way to go if you're hoping to talk to him in person.
- Six times a year, Mr. Buffett will invite graduate-level business students from 45 universities to his office located in Omaha, Nebraska.
- During the visit, students will interact with him for 90 minutes in a question and answer session. After that, he would host the students in a luncheon.
- Each university can only send 20 students, and of those students, 30 percent or more must be female.
Step 2. Attend the annual meeting
Warren Buffett meets with shareholders once every year. You can hear him speak, but there is little chance that you will meet or speak to him during the meeting.
