Dizziness, or "dizziness," is a sign that your body and brain are losing touch. Sometimes dizziness is a sign that you are about to pass out, or that you need to eat. You can learn how to make yourself dizzy just for fun, but still be safe.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Making Yourself Dizzy
Step 1. Turn in a circle with your head down
The most common and easiest way to get dizzy? Spin in a circle. Look at your feet and rotate, as fast as you can, for 7-10 times. You don't have to spin a lot to get dizzy.
- Advanced method: Take a baseball bat, or other bat about a meter long. Stick one end of the stick in the ground and your forehead on the other. Rotate while your forehead touches the stick.
- Don't try to run or do anything a little strenuous afterward. Chances are you won't be able to do it, and could hurt yourself
Step 2. Sit on the swing and spin, then release
Next time you go to the park, sit on the swing and spin until you can't go any further. Then let go of the rope and let the swing spin again quickly.
Rotate in a rotatable office chair or work chair
Step 3. Curl your body then stand up quickly
Another easy way to get dizzy is to curl up for a while, legs bent as if you were pressed together. Then suddenly stand up. The effect is sometimes called a "spike of blood," but it can basically give you a headache.
If you are hungry, or it is very hot outside, then the sensations will be more intense. Dizziness can lead to fainting if you're not careful
Step 4. Position your feet higher than your head
When the lower part of the body is higher than the upper part, the blood rises to the head and you can start to feel a bit dizzy. Try to move as little as possible when you do this, and you'll notice the effect more.
- You can hang upside down from a swing, or from a fence, or from an exercise bar. Make sure you straighten up again before descending.
- Ride a roller coaster that goes upside down, or ride a ride that you can adjust the spin. Tilt-a-Whirl can really make you dizzy.
Step 5. Exercise
Often, if you start doing sports, such as jogging, jumping, or even jumping rope, you will feel a little dizzy. Take something that will make you spin, go outside, and do it.
Sometimes you will feel dizzy if your blood sugar is low and you need something to eat, or you are too hot. If you get dizzy while doing this, you should sit down, have a drink, and quickly find something to eat
Step 6. Look at the optical illusion
Whether in books or online drawings, optical illusions can make your head spin even when you're sitting still. This is great for giving yourself the illusion that you're moving without actually having to go anywhere.
- There are tons of optical illusions available on YouTube. The illusions are extraordinary.
- If you don't like the optical illusions you find, try looking at the iTunes or Windows Media Player visualizations while you listen to music you like.
Step 7. Try the spinning challenge
Spinning challenges are widely available on social networks and YouTube, featuring kids doing silly errands after spinning to get dizzy. Check out a few for inspiration, or try one of the following after you've made a spin:
- Put on as many socks as you can
- Solve math problems
- Write your name
- Say a series of difficult words
- Walk in a straight line, slowly
- Hit the baseball
Part 2 of 2: Spin Safely
Step 1. Make sure the rotating area is clear of obstructions
If you spin too much and become dizzy, you may lose your balance and even fall. Never try to spin around in the kitchen, or anywhere else in the room.
- The best place to get dizzy is outdoors, where there's plenty of grass and open space to spin. Grass is an ideal place to fall.
- If you must be indoors, make sure there are no objects or toys on the floor, and that you are far enough away from furniture and walls that you don't injure yourself.
Step 2. Don't spin too much
Don't spin so much that you fall, so you don't have to worry about getting injured. Usually 7-8 rounds is enough to give you a headache. No need to do more than that.
It's very difficult to control a fall when you're very dizzy, so it's easy to break your arm or wrist, or injure yourself even more
Step 3. Never attempt to spin your head on an empty stomach
Dizziness and nausea are closely related. Don't try to give yourself a headache if you've only eaten an hour or two before, unless you want to see what you ate at breakfast come out again.
Step 4. Do not attempt this if you are alone
Having other people around you is very important if you want to give yourself a headache. If you injure yourself, someone in your right mind should be there to help, or balance you if you are about to fall.
Ask your parents to supervise. If they don't want to, there's a good reason behind the refusal. Do not do it
Step 5. Sit down if you feel nauseous
If you feel too dizzy and don't like the feeling, sit down and lift your knees up, then wrap your arms around them. Place your head between your knees and take a deep breath.
Headaches are sometimes a sign of a number of health problems, including sugar problems, eye problems, nerve problems, and inner ear imbalances
Step 6. Never hold your breath or purposely choke to get dizzy
Many schoolchildren around the world die every year from deliberately choking to get "high". Blocking the way of oxygen to the brain is very dangerous, and can lead to serious problems such as long-term brain damage, heart problems, and even death. What you feel is not "high," but your brain is dying from lack of oxygen.
Don't let your schoolmates talk you into doing it, or say that the experiment "is fine" or that it's "legalized drunk." It's actually an easy way to kill yourself accidentally
Tips
- Remember to enjoy it-it's great to see how people react to dizziness.
- Spinning will help you feel dizzy.
Warning
- Do not do this if you want to get drunk quickly. The above steps can cause serious brain damage if done over a long period of time.
- Make sure the area around you is large and safe as protection if you fall from being too dizzy. Falling on a rough surface can cause injury.
- It's not recommended if you have health problems, or if you frequently get motion sickness.
- Too much spinning will make you nauseous and possibly vomit, so don't eat anything right before or after it. Have a trash can near you.
