Exercising while naked appears to have many benefits. You'll save on clothing costs and be unfettered by shirts and pants. Many people find exercising while naked helps them accept their bodies. Exercising while naked should be done behind closed doors at home. Find a suitable place at home to exercise while naked. So as not to be seen from outside the house, close the curtains and curtains. For strenuous activities, you should wear at least underwear, jock straps, or sports bras. Apart from that, exercising while naked is no different from any other exercise routine. You need to warm up, cool down and not push yourself
Step
Part 1 of 4: Finding a Home Workout Routine
Step 1. Do basic pushups
Basic pushups are easy to do at home and while naked. This classic exercise requires no tools; You just need to prepare the body.
- First, lift yourself off the floor with your hands flat on the floor and your fingers facing forward. Keep your hands close to your hips and your shoulders back. Place your feet and soles in a plank (bar) position.
- Lower your body slowly by bending your elbows. Continue lowering until your chest or chin touches the floor.
- Straighten your elbows back to the starting position, then repeat. Continue until you do as many pushups as you can.
Step 2. Try downward dog
Downward dog is a simple yoga position that can help build strength. Start in a crawling position. Make sure your palms are under your elbows and your fingers are facing forward.
- Push your feet and soles into a plank position. Stand with your fingertips to lift yourself off the floor. Then, shift your weight and raise your pelvis until your body is in a V position. Keep your head in line with your spine. Exhale as your body moves up.
- Then, inhale and return to the starting position. Do as many reps as you can.
Step 3. Practice the sideways plank
First, lie down on your right side. Bend your knees and place your feet on top of each other. Lift your body by bending your right elbow and supporting your weight with your right hand. Keep your head in line with your spine.
- Lift your thighs off the ground as you exhale. Keep your head and spine aligned.
- Return to the starting position as you inhale. Do as many reps as you feel comfortable with, then repeat on the other side.
Step 4. Try the squat jump
This exercise requires more movement so it can help increase the heart rate. First, stand up straight with your feet hip-width apart. The hands are at the sides of the body, and the shoulders are slightly pulled down.
- Crawl down by sliding your pelvis and back down and bending your knees. Continue lowering your body until your heels almost touch the floor.
- Then, bounce into the air. Try to keep both feet the same height when jumping.
- Try to land gently, with both feet the same height. Push your pelvis back slightly to absorb the impact. Then, repeat.
Step 5. Do lunges
First of all, stand with your feet together and your shoulders pulled back. Lift one leg and balance briefly on one leg. Then, step forward and land on the raised foot.
- Lower yourself until you feel uncomfortable. Make sure your thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Push off the floor with your raised leg. Return to the starting position. Repeat the movement with the other leg.
Part 2 of 4: Keeping Home Privacy
Step 1. Close all curtains and blinds
Don't let your neighbors or other people outside see you naked; So, close all curtains and blinds. This is especially important if it is difficult to stay away from windows in your home.
- Curtains usually cover windows better than blinds. If possible, practice in a room with curtains.
- If there's a room in your house that doesn't have any windows, such as a basement, it's a good idea to exercise there.
Step 2. Exercise in a window near a tree or bush
If the curtains still don't cover the window enough, you may want to increase your privacy during your practice. Live plants can help block out views. If you have a room where the window is near a tree, bush, or other foliage, it's a good idea to practice there.
The bigger and denser the plants, the more privacy you will maintain
Step 3. Choose a window facing the backyard
If your house has a backyard, it's a good idea to practice in a room that overlooks it. Thus, the chances of people passing through your practice room window are reduced.
However, if you live in an apartment complex, neighbors can walk around the backyard. If so, you should exercise elsewhere
Step 4. Take advantage of walls and fences
If your house is surrounded by walls or fences, you don't have to worry about exercising near a window. A fence or wall will make it difficult for others to peek into your house.
Part 3 of 4: Trying Other Naked Sports Options
Step 1. Find a nude yoga class
Since yoga is a low-intensity activity, sometimes there are nude yoga classes that you can join. This class is usually attended by those who want to get used to being naked in front of others, helping to accept their own body, and this class is usually guided by an instructor through the routines. This class does not yet exist in Indonesia.
- You can try to find this class on the internet. There may be a gym or spa that offers nude yoga classes.
- If you can't find a nude yoga class, do your own yoga routine at home without clothes on.
Step 2. Find a nude spa
Sometimes, there are spas that allow visitors not to wear clothes. Spas can also have exercise classes, such as yoga, and are equipped with fitness center equipment. If you want to exercise while naked, try looking for this type of spa. However, this spa is still rare in Indonesia.
Spas may have rules regarding how to wear equipment when you're naked so make sure you follow them all. For example, you may not be allowed to use certain equipment while naked
Step 3. Find a nude beach
If you want to do water sports, try finding a nude beach. This beach is found in many other countries such as the United States. This place is great for exercising while naked.
In the United States, this beach is in many states such as Texas, Oregon, California, and Hawaii
Part 4 of 4: Avoiding Problems When Exercising Naked
Step 1. Make sure you warm up and cool down
Working out naked requires basic safety moves just like any other exercise. Before exercising, warm up. When you're done, cool down.
- Warming up is usually in the form of light activity before the exercise routine. You can run for 10 minutes, or light stretches for 10 minutes too.
- Cooling is done by the same process. Do 10 minutes of light activity.
Step 2. Put on a sports bra if you start to feel pain
A sports bra can support your breasts during exercise. These clothes help support your body weight so that your posture improves during your workout. You'll need a sports bra even more if your breasts are sensitive due to pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- If exercising while naked is important to you, please don't wear a sports bra. For lighter-intensity activities such as yoga or Pilates, you may need a sports bra.
- However, if you're doing moderately strenuous cardio, a sports bra will benefit your body. If your breasts start to feel sore during your workout, you should at least wear a sports bra during your workout.
Step 3. Wear athletic underwear or jockstrap during high-intensity exercise
Jockstrap and athletic underwear support sensitive areas of the body, and function similarly to a sports bra. If you feel pain, buy underwear or jockstrap.
Step 4. Follow your body when starting a new routine
When exercising naked, you should always be in tune with your body. Pushing yourself will cause injury. When you're about to start a new exercise routine, pay attention to signs that your body needs to rest and recuperate.
- If you feel like passing out after a workout, take a full rest the next day.
- If exercise causes aches and pains that don't go away for days, it's best to reduce the intensity.
