The rock star style means that you look like you're getting out of bed and going straight to the stage, dancing your head all the way to the concert venue. Method 1 of 2: Skirt Styles for Girls
Step 1. Try ripping your jeans
If you want to get an untidy look in your style, try some jeans with rips in the right places. Be careful with razors at the knees on old jeans and slit a few holes in the right places and you look like a "rocker." Or, use the jeans you already have and wait for the pants to rip on their own for a more authentic look. Loose style or slimmer, both look cool with holes and rips.
Brand new clothes are not very rock-n-roll. If you want to make new clothes look older, wash them several times, and hang them in the car, or for dark clothes, hang them out in the sun for a few days to let the color fade. The clothes will look aged and look much more worn
Step 2. Wear a loose, oversized band
If you want to look like a skirt woman, wear a band dress. Get some cool-looking old touring outfits from your favorite band, or search for classic rock icons like Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, and the Stones to make it easier.
One popular skirt option for women is cutting the sleeves, or cutting the neckline which makes the shirt look like a tank-top compared to a boy's shirt. Wear a white sleeveless t-shirt to keep you covered and cover your shoulders
Step 3. Use an old cardigan or flannel shirt as a skirt-style top
A loose-fitting men's shirt will make a woman very rock-n-roll. Grandpa's fur jacket may not look too cool, but it will look stylish when paired with your made Sabbath shirt and ripped pants. It's a cool thing, and shows you dressed like a rock star.
Step 4. Match women's clothes and regular clothes
An easy way to still look skirt but still show the female side you have is to think in the opposite direction. A lovely baby-doll dress or summer dress doesn't look too skirt-like, but with boots you'll look ready to go on stage and make some noise. Combine your casual look with a little accent like beetroots or ripped pants and you'll master the skirt style.
Step 5. Apply a bright red lipstick with a black eyeliner
If you want to use make-up, star skirt make-up is relatively simple. Don't go too far. Some simple black eyeliner and bright red lipstick will be dramatic but will make you look really rock-n-roll that will suit your new style.

Step 6. Let your hair grow long, or cut it very short
Women's skirt stars usually have extreme hair or other long hair, past the shoulders, with bangs that go down past your eyebrows which looks popular in many different styles. Start growing it if you want to get that style. Otherwise, the shorter the better. What's more rock-n-roll than a super-short punk cut? Or a faux-hawk cut, maybe?
Generally, skirt hair is famous for its untidiness, all of which are used when nodding your head forward while enjoying a song. But that doesn't mean you have to have unkempt hair on your head:
Step 7. Use cheap necklace accessories and old-fashioned bracelets
As a rock star, you can wear a lot of cool jewelry. Focus on getting cheap, old-fashioned items that look like they're from a bygone era, as opposed to expensive new jewelry. Accessories can shape the appearance. Bandanas, thick rings, and piercings are the usual additions to skirt girls. Wearing multiple rings--a few on each hand--shows the star side of the skirt.
Use layered necklaces to give the skirt style a different look. Imagine Steven Tyler meeting Janis. While it's possible to "over-do" the accessories, it's a little tricky. Rock and roll, by and large, is an almost goofy look, but super-cool at the same time. Get ready for an extreme look

Method 2 of 2: Skirt Styles for Boys
Step 1. Grow your hair out
No one would call a "rocker" on a regular long haired person, Grow it out. If you have curly hair, you can be the envy of afro-haired people, but if you have straight hair, you can look like a guitar melody player. Medium length? Cover your neck? You decide how much rock n' roll you want.
Step 2. You can't go wrong with just a t-shirt and jeans
It looked cool on James Dean and it looks cool on you now: a plain white t-shirt with tight jeans will always look cool. Wear a v-neck shirt that fits your body and pair it with Ray-Bans for a cool look.
- In general, in dressing the simpler the better. T-shirts should be plain colors, or bands with bands on them. An old looking shirt is cooler than a brand new one.
- For t-shirts, flannel, denim, and western shirts always look cool. Roll up the sleeves for a cooler look. You should roll up the sleeves of your shirt so it doesn't get in the way of you playing the guitar.
Step 3. Get used to wearing denim and leather
Has anyone ever looked uncool in a leather motorcycle jacket? No. A leather motorcycle jacket will be just as cool as a jeans jacket. Use a jacket that matches and is relatively tight with older models, if possible. A jean jacket that looks old and worn will show the side of a skirt band, and faux-leather doesn't cost too much.
Step 4. For shoes, wear boots or Chucks
Chuck Taylors never goes out of style. Low or high, Chucks will always be. Use classic white or black, or mix it with other colors. For added value, if you are trying to collect, you can use one color on one leg and another color on the other leg. Mix and match for never-ending styles.
If you can use them, cowboy boots or Beatle boots look rock-n-roll too. Wear it inside your trouser leg, not outside, and the height at your heel will be intimidating
Step 5. Accessories to taste
While a well-placed necklace, bandana, or ring looks cool, it can also make you look like a rock star for Halloween, not like you're about to step on stage and wow. Use at most one type of accessory.
Piercings and tattoos are rock-and-roll, that's good to say. If you are committed to your tok star style, you may need to think about that. Some piercings and all tattoos are permanent, so make sure you commit to your appearance before taking this big step. Think about it and make sure you get permission from your parents
Step 6. Try a classy skirt look
A suit with a western shirt and jeans is a skirt look that you can always wear. Suits can be found in thrift stores for relatively low prices, with regular patterns and a little tightness that make old styles look comfortable to wear. Try a few until you find one that fits you, or you'll look like you're wearing your Dad's outfit.

Step 7. Don't wear shorts
What are the unwritten rules of rock and roll? Do not wear shorts. If you want to be a rock star, make shorts your mortal enemy. Never use it, especially if you are actually in a band and playing on stage.
If you must wear shorts, better use short jeans, and they should be tattered. It is only used in very hot climates. You've been warned
