Learning to tell if a guy is attracted to you isn't like studying advanced science. There are lots of easy ways to tell if a guy is attracted to you, from learning his body language to noticing how often he makes eye contact. If you want to know if a guy is attracted to you, read Step 1 to identify the signs.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Watching What He Does
Step 1. See if he does any favors for you
Did he bring you a cup of coffee? Take you home? Unless he really was a very good citizen, there was a chance that he didn't do it purely out of the kindness of his heart. He's definitely attracted to you and wants something more than a "thank you" for all the kindness he's given you.
Step 2. See if he's looking for excuses to get close to you
Does he ask if you need his help doing repairs at home or removing snow from your parking lot? Does he help you cook because you just had a tiring day? If he's always around you, looking for ways to be close to you and he wants to be with you all the time, he's probably attracted to you.
Step 3. Watch if he does embarrassing things in front of you
If a man is interested in a woman, he will try to impress her. Even if you have to risk serious injury like jumping off a cliff into the water or standing on a speeding car or doing other things to get your attention then watch if he's hurt. If he's not usually a risk taker or he becomes more willing to take bigger risks when you're around him, then there's a good chance he's just doing it to impress you. Pay attention to whether he's trying to look you in the eye or looking at you after he's done something dangerous – if that's the case, then he's just doing it to get a response from you.
Step 4. Notice if he likes to flirt with you
A man won't flirt with a woman if he doesn't feel attracted to her. If a guy flirts with you, he may be testing you to see if you both have feelings in common. There doesn't seem to be any harm in flirting as a mask to cover up his fears of rejection if he's rejected when he asks you to go out with him right away. Notice if he seems happy to be around you, if he's flirting with you, and if he's trying to make you laugh.
Make sure that he's not the kind of guy who likes to flirt with every woman he sees. If he does have a habit of always flirting and this is his habit when talking to women, it means he will flirt not only with you
Step 5. See if he's jealous if you're with another guy
Do you notice that he doesn't like it when you go out for coffee or lunch with your guy friends at work? Does he observe anyone near you? If you have a male friend does he like to criticize him? His jealousy may not be obvious, but if he's really jealous of you and this guy, he'll either try to get attention because you're going out with another guy or he'll walk away if you make plans with another guy.
Every guy has a different way of showing that he's jealous, but if you find a reason that he's jealous of you, then this is a surefire sign that he's attracted to you
Step 6. Notice if he gives you a small gift
If he gives you flowers or a cute little display that can make you laugh or smile, this is a sure sign that he is interested in you. What other reason would he take the time to give you a gift he knows will make your day more enjoyable? He might take this gift for granted when he gives it to you, to sound like it's okay if you refuse, but the truth is, he's doing this because he likes you!
Step 7. Notice if he tries to act like a nice guy around you
If he opens doors and car doors for you, pulls out your seat before you sit down, offers you his jacket, and does other things that show he's a nice and chivalrous guy when he's with you, then there's a good chance that he's interested. to you and expect something more. Make sure that he doesn't act like a nice guy in front of every woman.
Step 8. Notice if she dresses up around you
If he gets busy doing his hair, picking threads from his shirt, fussing with his shirt cuffs, fixing his belt, cleaning stains from his shoes, or generally paying more attention to his appearance when he's with you, then this is a clear sign that he's attracted to you. If you catch him taking too much care of himself when it comes to his appearance, looking at himself in the mirror, or simply being more concerned about his style the next time you arrive, these are sure signs that he's attracted to you.
Step 9. Notice if he walks at the same speed as you
Research has shown that when a man walks with the woman he likes, he will slow down or speed up his pace in order to go hand in hand. If men walk with other women who they consider only as friends, they will not match their pace with the partner who accompanies them. Next time you walk with him, watch the speed of his footsteps!
Method 2 of 3: Reading Her Body Language
Step 1. Notice if you often catch him staring at you
If this guy is attracted to you, then there's a good chance you might catch him staring at you from across the room. Of course, you don't have to try so hard to notice him just so you can catch him staring at you, or he'll think you're the one staring at him (which means that you… like that). If you look and find him staring at you several times, then he may be attracted to you. There's an added bonus point if he evades quickly or looks embarrassed.
Step 2. See if you can catch him waiting for you to stare at him
If you keep looking at him and he keeps looking at you and you blush, he'll keep staring at you because he's genuinely attracted to you and expects more from you. Of course, if he's a shy person, he'll probably avoid your gaze a bit, but if he keeps staring at you for a few seconds, then there's a good chance he's attracted to you.
Step 3. Notice if he brings his body closer to you when you talk
If this guy is attracted to you, then he will gently – or not so subtly – bring his body closer to you when you talk. This is part of a fundamental pattern of attraction. If he likes you, then he will try to bring his shoulders, face, hands, and body towards you. If he stays away from you or turns his back on you, he may not be very attracted to you.
Step 4. Notice if he gets agitated around you
If you see him fiddling with his buttons, breaking his nails, playing with things on his desk, moving his feet from side to side, or generally acting a little impatient, there's a good chance he's doing these things because he's attracted to you.. There are classic signs of restlessness, and if you make him a little nervous, then he'll be a lot more clumsy than usual because he's happy to have you around.
Step 5. Notice if he's always looking for excuses to touch you
If he's really interested in you, he'll do whatever he can to get closer to you. This could mean that he will place his hand lightly on your back as you walk into the room, he may lightly tap your shoulder or arm, or he will even stand so close to you that your feet touch and he won't move it right away.
He might even move closer to you until he's a hair away from your face if he really wants to be close to you
Step 6. Notice if his face is "honest to you" when he talks to you
Notice if the lips are slightly parted. This is a classic sign of attraction. If he's attracted to you, his lips will part slightly when you make eye contact, or when you talk. Notice if the nostrils widen slightly when you speak. Observe if his eyebrows are slightly raised as you talk to each other. These are all signs that his face is being honest with you when you're alone because he's genuinely attracted to you.
Step 7. Notice if he is always facing you
If you're standing, see if his head, shoulders, and feet are all pointing at you. If this guy is attracted to you, then this is his way of showing that he just wants to be closer to you. If he's looking the other way, facing a slightly different direction, or stepping away from you, then maybe he's not looking at you in a romantic way.
Method 3 of 3: Paying Attention to What He Says
Step 1. Notice if he asks about you
Have you heard him ask your friends about you? Has he ever asked you if you have a girlfriend? If he does, then he's definitely attracted to you. It's a little hard to tell if he's ever asked anyone about you without first asking you about yourself, because it's certain that you want to know about him because you like him. But if you've heard rumors that he's been asking about you, then this definitely means he's attracted to you.
Step 2. Notice if he starts talking a lot when he's around you
He may get so lost in his attraction to you that he ends up constantly talking about his love for Star Trek or his relationship with his little sister. This ridiculous behavior stems from the fact that he is so attracted to you that he can no longer control the words that come out of his mouth. He may even apologize for talking too much or say, "I don't know why I'm telling you this" because he's finally realized he's already looking stupid in front of you.
Step 3. See if he's being honest with you
If he's attracted to you, then he'll naturally reveal some personal things to you that he usually doesn't tell anyone. This is because he wants to get to know you and he wants you to know him. If you notice that he's being honest, or even says things like, "I've never told anyone before" or "It's been years since I last brought it up," then it's probably because he's genuinely interested in you and he wants you to know more about him.
Step 4. Notice if he talks to you in a low tone of voice
Research has shown that men will speak in a lower tone of voice when they talk to women they like. The next time you talk to your boyfriend, pay attention to his tone of voice. Compare if he's talking to his friends or other female friends and see if you can spot any differences. If he can, there's a good chance he's really interested in you!
Step 5. Notice if he always gives subtle compliments
There's no way he'd immediately say, "You're so hot. I'm very interested in you." However, he will give more subtle compliments to better explain that he is genuinely interested in you. He might tell you that your hair color is unique, that the way you laugh is really fun, or that he's happy that you're always in a good mood. Notice if he's been giving you compliments a lot lately – he's probably trying to tell you something.
Step 6. Notice if he often laughs for no reason when he's with you
If he's attracted to you, then of course he'll laugh more often just because he enjoys being around you. Maybe you say something that isn't funny at all and he just keeps laughing, or you might even say something you don't mean to be funny but he'll start laughing just because he's nervous. These are all signs that he is interested in you.
