Problems with RAM (random access memory) can cause a variety of errors on your computer, such as data corruption, process crashes, and odd operations. RAM problems can also be a real pain in the ass because these "symptoms" of the crash are often random and hard to detect. Memtest86+ is a great program for testing memory function, and you can download it to an optical chip or USB. Memtest86+ is widely used by computer builders, repair service providers, and computer manufacturers.

If you can't start the computer, try using another computer that accepts your RAM. However, if the problem occurs with the PSU, have a repair professional test the RAM. If you try to test the RAM on another computer, it may damage the computer
Warning
- Do not remove RAM during testing. You will be electrocuted, or the RAM you are testing will be damaged by static electricity.
- If you're fairly computer savvy and want to try removing RAM, be careful. RAM is a perishable object.
