Method 1 of 2: Turning Off Channel Notifications
Step 1. Open Discord
This app is indicated by a purple or blue icon with a white game pad image. Usually, you can find this icon on your home screen or app drawer.
While there's no followable way to get out of a channel, you can turn off notifications so the channel doesn't distract
Step 2. Touch the button
It's in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Select the server that contains the channel
Server icons are displayed on the left side of the screen.
Step 4. Touch the desired channel name
Step 5. Touch
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 6. Touch Channel Settings
Step 7. Slide the “Mute Channel” switch to the on or “On” position
The switch color will change to blue. Now, you will no longer see channel activity notifications.
Method 2 of 2: Deleting Channels
Step 1. Open Discord

- When a channel is deleted, no one can use it anymore.
- You must be a server administrator in order to delete channels.

Step 3. Select the server that contains the channel
