This wikiHow teaches you how to change your Hotmail account password on the Microsoft password page. This page manages passwords for all Microsoft products that you use.
Step
Step 1. Visit https://account.live.com/password/change via a web browser
Type "account.live.com/password/change" into your web browser's address bar and press Return. If you are not logged into your account, type in your Hotmail email address and account password, then click “ Next ”.
If prompted to generate a security code, click the “ Send Code ” and enter the code sent to your email address or phone number.
Step 2. Enter the current password in the field at the top of the window
Step 3. Enter and confirm the new password
If you want to be reminded to change your password periodically, check the "Make me change my password every 72 days" box
Step 4. Click Next
The password used to log into the Hotmail email account has now been changed.
