This wikiHow teaches you how to create a multiple-choice vote on Telegram via an Android device.
Step
Step 1. Open Telegram on Android device
This app is marked by a blue icon with a white paper airplane. You can usually find this icon on your home screen or app drawer.
Step 2. Touch
It's in the upper-right corner of the Telegram window.
Step 3. Type in @pollbot
A list of matching results will be displayed.
Step 4. Touch PollBot
This option is indicated by a light blue icon with a bar graph in it. A chat window with the PollBot will open.
Step 5. Touch START
It's at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6. Type in the question and click the submit button
It's the blue paper airplane button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Type in the first answer option and click the submit button
For example, if your question is “What is your favorite season?”, the first possible answer option would be “Winter”.
Step 8. Type in the next option and click the submit button
If you only want to provide two answer options, you can stop here. Otherwise, keep entering options and click the submit button until you've finished adding each desired answer option.
Step 9. Type /done and click the submit button
The URL will be displayed in the chat window.
Step 10. Touch the voting URL
The chat list will be displayed after that.
Step 11. Touch the group you want to share the vote with
A confirmation message will be displayed.
Step 12. Touch OK
Now, the vote will be shared with the selected group. Group members can respond to the vote by touching or clicking on the answer of their choice.
