If your work culture or social circle has developed a habit of sending cute animated GIFs, you may want to include those animations in Gmail messages. However, if you just copy and paste it, the animation won't work, and if you add it as an attachment, the recipient will have to open it first (and that's a pain). So, how to add an animated-g.webp
Step
Step 1. Compose your message in Gmail
Of course you already know how, right? Log in to your Gmail account, click Compose or Reply and compose your email as desired. Technically, you can do this once you find the animated-g.webp
Step 2. Find the animated-g.webp" />
Step 3. Save the animated-g.webp" />
To add an animated-g.webp
- You can add an image using the URL of the animated GIF, but this process only works if you know the direct URL to the animation file, not the link to the page where the animation is. You can get the direct URL by right-clicking the image and selecting Copy Image URL. If you're having trouble, the best option is to copy the animation file to your desktop.
- To save the file to your computer, right-click the animation and select Save Image As. Save the animation in an easily accessible location, such as the desktop. Once you've finished submitting it, you can delete it from your desktop.
Step 4. Click the "Insert Photo" icon in Gmail
The icon looks like an image of a mountain with the sun above it and appears in the toolbar at the bottom of the message compose window. After that, a small window for selecting an image will open.
Step 5. Make sure the Insert images option shown in the lower right corner is selected as Inline
Otherwise, your animation will be added as an attachment, and the recipient of the message must first open it manually in order to view it.
Step 6. Select the desired animated-g.webp" />
You have two main options for adding an animated GIF: You can select Upload if the animated-g.webp
- If you want to upload it, drag and drop the animated-g.webp" />
- If you want to use a web address, paste the animated live URL in the text box. If the URL is correct, a preview of the animation will be shown. After that, click Insert in the window to add it.
Step 7. Resize or move the animation if necessary
Click the animation until it is marked by a blue box first. From here, you can click and drag the corners of the animation box until it's the size you want. You can also choose the size options provided by Gmail, such as " Small " (small), " Best fit " (the size that fits the body of the message the best), and " Original size " (the original size of the animation file). If necessary, you can also remove the animation using the link shown below the animation.
If you want to move or drag the animation, you can drag and drop it to a different part of the message, or move the text around it if that's easier
Step 8. Send your message
When you're done composing the message, adding recipients, and inserting the animated GIF, click Send to send the message. Soon, you can make friends and coworkers laugh.
