Method 1 of 3: Using GIFwrapped on iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Install GIFwrapped on your iPhone or iPad
This app is a popular free program that can convert animated GIFs from Twitter to a downloadable format. Follow these steps to download the app:

open App Store
- Tap Search in the lower-right corner of the screen.
- Type gifwrapped into the search bar and tap Search.
- Touch GET next to "Gifwrapped". This app is marked by a black icon with a white and green gift box inside.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download the app.
Step 2. Open the Twitter app
This app is marked by a blue icon with a white bird in it. You can find it on the home screen or in a folder on your device.
Step 3. Find the animated-g.webp" />
The animation is shown as a video inset, but with “GIF” in the bottom left corner.
Step 4. Touch the animation to open it
A row of icons will be displayed below it.
Step 5. Touch the sharing icon or “Sharing”
This icon looks like a square bracket on one side with an arrow pointing up. You can see it in the lower right corner of the animated GIF. The menu will expand afterwards.
Step 6. Touch Share Tweet via…
This option is at the bottom of the menu. After that, the “Sharing” menu will be opened.
Step 7. Touch Copy Link
This option is the second option in the bottom row of the “Sharing” tool. You will see the message " Copied " after that.
Step 8. Go back to the home screen and open GIFwrapped
This app is marked by a black icon with a white and green gift box inside. This icon is added to the home screen after the app is installed so you may find it at the end of the icon list.
Step 9. Touch Search
This option is the second option at the bottom of the GIFwrapped window.
Step 10. Touch Use the Clipboard
It's at the top of the screen. In a second or two, you can preview the previously copied animated GIF.
Step 11. Touch the GIF
A large version of the animation will be shown.
Step 12. Touch the sharing icon or “Sharing”
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. A menu with sharing options will appear after that.

Step 1. Install Tweet-g.webp" />
This highly reputable free app can convert animated GIFs from Twitter into downloadable formats. Follow these steps to download the app:

open Play Store
- Type tweet-g.webp" />
- Tap Tweet-g.webp" />
- Touch INSTALL. The app icon will be added to the page/app drawer of the device.
Step 2. Go back to the home screen and open Twitter
This app is marked by a blue and white bird icon, and is usually displayed on the device's page/app drawer.
Step 3. Find the animated-g.webp" />
The animation is shown as an inset video, but with “GIF” in the bottom left corner.
Step 4. Touch the animated GIF
A large version of the animation will go live, including some of the icons below it.
Step 5. Touch the sharing icon or “Sharing”
It's in the lower-right corner of the animated GIF. A list of sharing options will be displayed.

Method 3 of 3: Using E-g.webp" />
Step 1. Visit https://www.twitter.com via a web browser
You can use any web browser on your computer, including Chrome or Safari to download animated GIFs.
Step 2. Find the animated-g.webp" />
The animation is shown as an inset video, but with “GIF” in the bottom left corner.
Step 3. Click the play button
This button looks like a blue circle with a sideways white triangle inside. The animation will play afterwards.
Step 4. Right-click the animated GIF
The menu will be displayed afterwards.
Step 5. Click Copy Video Address
The direct link to the video version of the animation will be copied to the computer clipboard.
Step 6. Visit
You will be taken to the website of EZGif, the site of a popular free video-to-g.webp
Step 7. Right click the column under " OR paste video url"
This column is in the " Upload video file " section of the page. The menu will be displayed afterwards.
Step 8. Click Paste
The URL of the video will be displayed in the column after it.
Step 9. Click Upload video
It's a blue button below the URL field. The video will be uploaded to the E-g.webp
Step 10. Edit the video (optional)
If you want to convert the video to-g.webp
Click the play button in the middle of the video window to test the changes
Step 11. Click Convert to GIF
Once ready, the animated-g.webp
Step 12. Edit the animated GIF
Once the file is in the-g.webp
- Click Crop to remove certain parts of the image, and/or Resize to adjust the animation dimensions.
- If you want to add text, click Write.
- To speed up or slow down the animation, click Speed.
Step 13. Click Save to download the animated GIF
This disc icon is at the end of the icon row, below the animation window. After that, the animated-g.webp
