Are there too many cars in your Grand Theft Auto 5? Do you want to sell it? Selling a car may not be possible in single player mode, but you can do it in GTA Online. This wikiHow teaches you how to sell a car in GTA Online. This guide is intended for English language settings.

Step 1. Log in to GTA Online
While playing, press the Options or Menu button on the controller. For GTA 5 PC, press Esc key to open the menu. In the menu, select the Online button on the right to enter Grand Theft Auto Online.
For the Playstation 4 or Xbox One versions, you must first subscribe to Playstation Plus or Xbox Live to play online
Step 2. Select the character to use
The characters used for online games are different from those used in single player. Use the directional buttons to select the character to use and then press the “X” button on the Playstation, “A” on the Xbox, or “Enter” on the PC. You will be connected to GTA Online.
If you've never played Grand Theft Auto Online, you'll need to create a character first
Step 3. Select the car to sell
Drive around and find cars to steal and sell. You can also sell cars that are in the garage.
A typical car can usually sell for $1,000 to $2,000. Sports cars can usually sell for $9,000. After finding a car to sell, go in and steal the car
Step 4. Visit Los Santos Customs
Los Santos Customs is the place to modify cars. On the map, this place has a spray can icon. Los Santos Customs can be found in Los Santos and Harmony.
You can only sell cars in GTA Online. Cars cannot be sold in single player mode
Step 5. Enter the garage
After arriving at Los Santos Customs, park the car in front of the garage door so that it opens. Enter the car inside to open the Los Santos Customs menu.
If you're being chased by the police, the garage door won't open
Step 6. Select the Sell button
It's in the Los Santos Customs menu. Use the directional buttons to highlight the “Sell” button on the menu. Press “X” on Playstation, “A” on Xbox, or “Enter” on PC to select “Sell”.
Step 7. Select the Sell button again
This button is used to confirm your choice to sell the car. Once sold, the money earned from the car will go to your account and can be seen in the upper right corner of the screen.
