Minecraft does not follow the laws of physics and the law of conservation of mass. The cobblestone generator in the Minecraft game can produce endless cobblestones. This tool proves to be very useful for gathering building materials and is a must-have for your survival in SkyBlock. This article describes how to build a cobblestone generator.
Step
Step 1. Gather the ingredients
You need 3 irons to make 1 bucket, a lava source and a water source. Mine for iron underground or do quests in cave walls. Melt iron in a furnace and make a bucket. Lava sometimes appears in ponds that are on the surface. However, you'll have to go underground under Y:9's location if you want to find it easily.
- Make 2 buckets if you want to carry water and lava at the same time.
- Some cobblestone (or other non-combustible blocks) can be used to reduce the chance that the resulting rock will fall into the lava.
- When playing SkyBlock, you'll probably have an ice block instead of a bucket of water. You can put the ice on the bottom and crush it to get water.
Step 2. Make a hole 1 block deep and another hole two blocks deep on the side
Put water into the hole 1 block deep so the water will flow into the hole 2 blocks deep.
If the water turns the lava into obsidian, your second hole may not be 2 blocks deep
Step 3. Leave a gap of 1 block and make another hole one block deep
Place the lava here.
Step 4. Break the block that separates the lava from the water
One second later, there will be a hissing sound and a cobblestone block is formed.
Step 5. Take the resulting cobblestone by crushing it
The generator will continue to produce an unlimited number of cobblestones.
Step 6. Upgrade the generator
Cover the lava and water to prevent non-combustible blocks (cobblestone, clay, earth, etc.) from falling into them. This is also useful for preventing the cobblestone you are mining from being burned by the lava. Break down the blocks in front of the generator to make a stand so you can mine and pick up cobblestones more easily.
Tips
It is recommended that you place the generator in a location close to the house so that these precious cobblestones are not lost when you are attacked in the space between the generator and the house
Warning
- Do not build the generator on a surface that is above a house or other important object. Lava will move downwards. If the generator breaks, all important items will be safe because the generator is under it.
- Make sure the generator is placed in a location away from trees and wooden buildings. Lava can burn it badly, and it can accidentally start a fire.
