This wikiHow teaches you how to take advantage of the stock market in Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V) to make huge sums of money. While there are no cheats or quick ways to increase in-game money, there are steps you can take to take advantage of the stock market and achieve this goal.

Method 1 of 2: Leveraging Stock Market Influence
Step 1. Understand the stock market competition system
In the GTA V stock market, every company has similar competitors. By destroying a competitor's property or making a fuss in its place, its share price will drop thereby increasing the competitor's stock. Here are the investor competition pairs:

Step 2. Find the company with the stock you want to destroy
If you like eCola drinks in the game, attack every eCola delivery truck you see.
This move is difficult for location-based investors or brands. However, you can visit product sales locations and attack the people or sellers who are in those locations
Step 3. Wait for the stock to drop
Once the stock price for the brand or investor you're attacking has dropped, you can move on to this method. You can also strike back at investors to drop their shares.
Changes in the value of the company take about a day or two (in game time) to be displayed on the stock market
Step 4. Buy stocks when they are cheap
After the company you choose goes down, its stock price will be much cheaper than before so you can buy a lot of shares in the company.
The stock price will depend on the brand, the amount of damage, and the active market in the game
Step 5. Attack a competitor's property or customer
If you choose eCola, the competitor to attack is Raine. Just find a suitable competitor and re-do violence or attack on the rival company.
Step 6. Watch the increase in the value of the stock you buy
After creating trouble for competitors, the shares you buy will start to increase. Keep harassing or attacking competitors until you get an advantage, then repeat this process as many times as you want.

Method 2 of 2: Committing Murder
Step 1. Understand this concept
By investing in a particular company before killing the investors or owners of competing companies, you can earn a lot of money. You need to wait until story mode ends before doing so because you don't have enough money to make big profits after the game mission ends.
- All assassination missions were completed by Franklin and given by Lester.
- Never complete the next mission in the sequence of missions until all existing crime missions have been completed.
Step 2. Play the main story until you reach the mission “Hotel Assassination”
You are not allowed to carry out any other assassinations at this stage, but the "Hotel Assassination" mission is mandatory to continue the story. Before going on this mission, invest all your money in stocks that are guaranteed to increase.
Step 3. Invest all the money in Beta Pharmaceuticals
These stocks are displayed on the BAWSAQ board. By carrying out the mission "Hotel Assassination", the value of this stock will increase.

Step 4. Immediately sell Beta shares after completing the “Hotel Assassination” mission
After that, you will benefit. At this stage, you can technically wait three days (in game duration), buy Bilkington shares on LCN, wait one week, and resell Bilkington shares. However, this step is not mandatory and will not provide much benefit.
Step 5. Complete story mode
You need to spend money to make a profit in the stock market. By completing story mode, each character earns about 25 million dollars. After that, you can move on to other assassination missions.
Step 6. Invest your money in Debonaire before going on the “Multi-Target Assassination” mission
At the moment, the price for Debonaire may be very high, but you can increase the price by bringing down Redwood investors.
Step 7. Sell Debonaire shares and buy Redwood shares after the mission ends
When the mission is complete, sell Debonaire's stake in LCN for a big profit. After that, you can buy Redwood shares in LCN at a low price.
Step 8. Sell Redwood shares after investors recover
The recovery period takes a few days so you can pass the time by sleeping in the game.
As before, save your game progress before investing or selling big stocks
Step 9. Continue investing in Fruit with the “Vice Assassination” mission
Buy Fruit shares on the BAWSAQ exchange, then carry out the mission and immediately resell Fruit shares.
Step 10. Buy Facade shares after selling Fruit shares
Facade's firm value (BAWSAQ) will be much lower after Fruit's value skyrockets. Therefore, buy as many shares as possible.
Step 11. Sell Facade stock after recovering
The recovery period can take a few days so make sure you save the game before buying it and keep an eye on the stock's highs.
Usually you can sell Facade stock for a 30 percent profit which will allow you to buy a house in the area worth $2 billion
Step 12. Purchase Vapid stock after completing the “Bus Assassination” mission
Vapid company value will recover within two days after the “Bus Assassination” mission is completed so you don't have to buy it beforehand.
Step 13. Sell Vapid stock once the value of the company increases
Vapid value (BAWSAQ) will return to 100 percent so adjust sales plan accordingly.
Step 14. Invest your money in GoldCoast (LCN) before going on the “Construction Assassination” mission
The GoldCoast value will increase significantly after the mission is completed.
Step 15. Sell GoldCoast shares after the mission ends
This is the final step in increasing your infinite wealth in GTA V. While you can still play on the stock market to make more money, you already have enough money to buy anything (and, perhaps, anything) you want in the game.
