This wikiHow teaches you how to find a village in Minecraft Pocket Edition for iPhone and Android. To find a village, you can create a world that spawns your character next to the village. In addition, you can also search for villages based on the world's terrain. Note that searching for villages in the standard world version takes patience and takes a lot of time.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Creating a New World
Step 1. Open Minecraft PE
Tap the Minecraft icon shaped like the Minecraft logo.
Step 2. Tap the Play button
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Tap the Create New option
This option is at the top of the page (page).
Step 4. Tap the Create New World option
It's at the top of the page.
When performing this step, make sure you are on the " New World " tab, not the " New Realm " tab
Step 5. Move the screen down and tap the button
It's to the right of the " Seed " text field.
Step 6. Select the seed for the village
Tap one of the "Village" templates. If the seed name does not contain the word Village in the title, do not select the seed.
Step 7. Tap the Create button
It's on the left side of the screen. Clicking the button will create a new world using the village template you have selected.
Step 8. Find the village
After the game finishes loading the world, explore the world in search of villages. When you see a village, walk to it. If not, try walking the other way.
- If you can't find the village, look for a higher place so you can find the village more easily. You can also increase the rendering distance to get a closer look at the Minecraft world.
- You can also delete this world and create a new world using the same seed template to try again if you can't find the village within a few minutes.
Method 2 of 2: Searching for Villages in the Playing World
Step 1. Make sure your Minecraft is updated (update)
Villages do not appear in versions of Minecraft prior to version 0, 9, 0. Therefore, make sure that your iPhone or Android version of Minecraft is up to date before proceeding.
As of October 2017, Minecraft PE versions 1, 2, 2 are the latest versions of Minecraft
Step 2. Know the area where the village is located
Villages appear in the following situations:
- biome - Villages appear in biomes that are Plains (has a flat surface and filled with green grass), Savannah (filled with brown grass), Taiga (filled with hills and green grass), Desert (filled with sand), and Ice Plains (has a flat surface and filled with ice). You cannot find villages in any other biome than in the biomes described earlier.
- Medan - Usually the village appears in a flat area and is not filled with water blocks. This means that when looking for a village in the Taiga biome, you should be looking for a flat area.
- Appearance - The village consists of various buildings surrounded by farmland and populated by people who do not act aggressively towards you.
Step 3. Load your world
Select the world that has been created to find a village in this world.
When you play in Creative mode, you can walk faster and find villages more easily than playing in Survival mode
Step 4. Increase the rendering distance setting
Increasing this setting will help you see the Minecraft world and objects on the map further. After running the game, follow these steps:
- Tap pause button (pause) at the top of the screen.
- Tap option Settings.
- Move the menu on the left of the window down and tap Videos.
- Move the menu down until you find the " Render Distance " slide on the right side of the screen.
- Move the " Render Distance " slide to the right.
Step 5. Get ready to explore the world
You will probably spend hours finding the village. Therefore, it is recommended that you bring the equipment you will need during your trip, such as bedding, food, and weapons, before leaving.
Step 6. Tame the horse
If you have a saddle, you can use it to mount your horse and speed up your movement. Find and interact with the horse several times with your bare hands until it stops throwing you off its back. After that, approach the horse that has been tamed and put a saddle on its body to ride it easily.
You can also saddle pigs. However, you'll need a lot of "carrot on a stick" stuff to control it. You can make this item by combining carrots with a fishing pole
Step 7. Find a high place
Climb the highest hill you can find in the biome where the village appears. This way, you can see the areas around you.
Step 8. Look for the light coming from the torch at night
You can see the fire more clearly at night than during the day. Although fires that appear at night sometimes come from lava, you may be able to find fires from torches. Usually a torch indicates that the area has a village.
Be careful when searching for villages in Survival mode if you play on a difficulty other than "peaceful". It's best to approach the torch in the morning because you may run into enemies
Tips
- If you see a wide gravel pillar under the ground, you should try digging the pillar to see if it is a village well or not.
- Arriving at the village, you can exchange goods with the residents.
