Want to delete your Yelp account? Unfortunately, the link to close the account is not easily accessible via the profile page or settings. However, once you find the account closing page, you can close the account easily.

Method 1 of 2: Closing Personal Account
Step 1. Log in to the Yelp account that you want to close via the web
You can't close your Yelp account through the phone app or website.
Once your account is deleted, all of your posts (such as reviews, photos and forum comments) will also be deleted
Step 2. Delete the desired image or review
While Yelp will delete all of your posts, the deletion process will take some time. If you want to delete a specific review or photo immediately, delete it before you close your account.
- You can find all the reviews you submitted in the "About Me" section of the Yelp site. To delete a specific review, click the "Remove" link on the review.
- Delete the photo by visiting the page of the business where you uploaded it. Select the photo you want to delete, then click "Edit Caption". A "Remove" button for the photo will appear.
Step 3. Visit the Yelp account closure page at yelp.com/support/contact/account_closure
You cannot close the account via the account settings page or the phone app
Step 4. Enter any reason in the "Closing your User Account" box
Yelp will ask you to enter the reason for closing your account before continuing with the process. However, you do not need to enter a specific reason.
Step 5. Click "Send" to submit an account closure request
Your account will not be deleted immediately. You'll have to wait for the confirmation email, which should arrive in a few moments.
Step 6. Open the confirmation email that was sent to your Yelp account email address
Step 7. Click the "Close Account" button in the confirmation email to delete the account
After clicking the button, you will not be able to recover your account.
Step 8. Wait for your content to be deleted
After confirming account deletion, your data will begin to be deleted. However, the process of deleting the data will not happen all at once. Within a week or two, photos and reviews you submit will be deleted from Yelp.
Method 2 of 2: Closing a Business Account
Step 1. Know the limits of account deletion
You can remove control of your Yelp business account, but you can't remove your business page from Yelp. The only way to remove your business page from Yelp is to file a lawsuit against Yelp.
Step 2. Visit the business account closing page
You must submit certain forms to be able to relinquish control of your business account. You can find the form here.
Step 3. Fill in the details on the form
You must prove business ownership and enter the correct email address.
Step 4. Wait until you are contacted by Yelp
Before Yelp revokes your access to a business account, Yelp will generally contact you. This is done so that no one can revoke access without your permission.
Step 5. Wait for a while until the access to the business account is revoked
Keep in mind that you can't remove your business page from Yelp.
