Do you want to get in on the Facebook stage? To start using Facebook you need an account. Once you have an account, you can log into your Facebook profile from any computer or mobile device, anywhere in the world. See Step 1 below to learn how.

Method 1 of 2: Using a Computer
Step 1. Go to the Facebook site
Use your web browser and navigate to the Facebook home page. If you are not logged in, you will see a welcome screen.
Step 2. Enter your email address
In the upper right corner of the Facebook home page, there will be a field to enter your email address. Enter the email address you used to create your Facebook account.

- If you have a phone number associated with your account, you can also log in with that phone number.
Step 3. Enter your password
You must enter the password you created in order to enter. If you have forgotten your password, click the "I forgot my password" link below the sign in field.
Step 4. Choose whether you want to stay logged in or not
If you are using your own computer, you can check the "Keep me logged in" box. This will save time for future logons and will take you straight to your news feed. If you are on a public computer or a shared computer, leave the box unchecked for privacy reasons.
Step 5. Click "Log In"
You will be immediately taken to your news feed. If you've enabled login verification, you'll need to enter the code that Facebook sent to your phone.
Method 2 of 2: Using a Mobile Device
Step 1. Download the Facebook app, or visit the Facebook site in your browser
Almost all smartphones and tablets can download the Facebook app from their respective app stores. This application allows you to log into Facebook without having to use a browser. If you don't want to use the app, you can use your mobile browser and visit the Facebook mobile page.

Step 2. Open the app
The first time you open the application, you will be asked to enter your email address and password. Use the email address you used to create your Facebook account. If you have forgotten your password, click the link below the sign in box and follow the prompts to reset your password.
