Eagle's Nest Outfit makes hammocks in a variety of sizes, including the popular SingleNest and DoubleNest models. The flexible nylon is lightweight, comfortable and dries quickly. How you maintain the hammock will depend on the length of use and installation options. The first method is good for camping and other temporary uses, then later for permanent or seasonal installations.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Hanging the ENO Hammock
Step 1. Locate two trees 10 to 12 feet (3 to 3.6 meters) apart
You can purchase additional straps, such as the Atlas Hammock Suspension System, to extend the hanging distance to 10 to 30 feet (3.0 to 9.1 m).
Step 2. Remove both straps from the bag
Find a height of about 50 inches (127.0 cm) from the ground. Wrap the rope around the tree and thread it into the top loop of the rope.
Step 3. Repeat on the opposite tree
Step 4. Take the hammock out of the bag and untangle it
There will be black carabiners attached at both ends. Make sure the hammock is facing up.
Step 5. Take one end of your hammock
Press in on the carabiner and thread it into the knot of your rope. There are several knots so you can adjust the height of your hammock.
Step 6. Lift the other end
Tuck the carabiner into the knot on the rope from the opposite direction.
Step 7. Check the height of your hammock or press gently to see if it is too high or too low
Adjust the carabiner high or low to find the right position.
Step 8. Sit in the center of your hammock
Turn and lie down, lifting your legs down. Repeat node adjustments if needed.
Method 2 of 2: ENO Hammock Installation
Step 1. Purchase an ENO hammock or similar hammock support kit
It is equipped with a cast-iron carabiner and other durable hanging device. Use this tool to replace your rope.
Step 2. Drive two pillars or wood into the ground
You can also install your hammock in the room. Use two strong, old trees if you can't get wood outside.
Use the sensor stud to look for wood in the wall. Keep in mind that anchors and stone slabs cannot hold your hammock up. You have to find a wood
Step 3. Measure at least 112 inches (284.5 cm) between the two trees, logs or pillars
It's better to choose an anchor point that's too far away than too close, as you can always add more string. Anchor points that are too close will cause your hammock to fall into the middle.
Step 4. Make a mark 50 inches (127.0 cm) off the ground
You can increase his height if you are a tall person and weigh more than 200 lbs.
Step 5. Drill the wood or tree in the center using a power drill and 5/16-inch drill bit
Drill to a depth of 3 inches.
Step 6. Put the lag screw through the anchor
Tighten the lag screws into the wood using a 9/16-inch wrench until they are completely tight.
Step 7. Replace your hammock aluminum carabiner with an iron carabiner
This installation tool will damage the original carabiner that came with your hammock.
Step 8. Open your hammock
Make sure it's facing the right side. Attach the iron carabiner to both ends of the iron anchor.
