This wikiHow teaches you how to send the formatted code in a Telegram message via a Windows or macOS computer.
Step
Step 1. Copy the code you want to send
Mark the code in a file or application, then press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (macOS).
Step 2. Open Telegram
If you are using a Windows computer, this application is shown in the menu
. If you have a macOS computer, apps are stored in the “Applications” folder.
Step 3. Click the contact you want to send the code to
A chat with the contact will open.
Step 4. Click the Write a message field
This column is at the bottom of the chat.
Step 5. Type in ```
You don't need to add spaces. To keep the code displayed in an easy-to-read format, add the three ` (non-tapped accent) symbols at the beginning and end of the code.
Step 6. Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (macOS).
The copied code will be pasted into the typing field.
Step 7. Type in ```
You now have three tapering accents at the beginning and end of the code.
Step 8. Press Enter. key or Returns.
Now the code will be displayed in the conversation in its original format.
