The Linux Mint operating system offers thousands of different programs and applications. However, what if you want to remove the program? Here's how!

Method 1 of 3: Removing Programs from Program Menu
Step 1. Click the menu
Go to the app you want to remove. Right-click the unwanted program and select “Uninstall”.
Step 2. Type in the account password and hit the “Authenticate” button when prompted
Step 3. Look for the message " the following packages will be removed"
After that, click “Remove”.
Step 4. Wait until the program is uninstalled
This process takes a few moments. Once the window is closed, the uninstallation of the program is ready to take place and the program will be deleted afterwards.
Method 2 of 3: Removing Programs Via Package Manager Application
Step 1. Open Synaptic Package Manager
Click the menu and select “Package Manager”. You will be asked to enter your password afterwards.
Step 2. Type the name of the program you want to remove into the quick filter field (“Quick Filter”)
Step 3. Right-click the package you want to remove and select “Mark for Removal”
Step 4. Click “Apply” to apply all the marked changes
Step 5. Check the conclusion
This step is your last chance to see a list of all the changes flagged before they were applied. Click "Apply" after that.
Step 6. Wait for the program to be uninstalled
Marked changes will take effect.
Step 7. Close the window
Method 3 of 3: Uninstalling Programs Via Terminal App
Step 1. Open Terminal using the keyboard shortcut “CTRL+ALT+T”
Step 2. Copy the following command:
sudo apt-get remove frozen-bubble ("frozen-bubble" refers to the game Frozen Bubble).
Step 3. Press “Enter” and enter the password
Step 4. Pay attention to the information displayed in the Terminal window
For example: “The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required”
Step 5. Use “‘apt-get autoremove’” command to remove the app
The “autoremove” command is considered the most effective. To continue deleting, type “Y” and press the “Enter” key.
