Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) released for Windows computers as well as OS X, Xbox One, and PS4. This game is one of the Elder Scrolls game series developed by Bethesda. Elder Scrolls Online has various game features that are used in other Elder Scrolls games, one of which is the feature to modify characters and their equipment. In this game, you can enchant (a game feature that allows the player to increase the stats and abilities of the equipment) using the Glyphs that can be found in the game. In addition, you can also do enchanting with certain items obtained from enemies.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Enchanting with Glyph
Step 1. Defeat enemies to get items
Every time you defeat an enemy, you will get various items, one of which is a Glyph. Usually this item can be obtained after fighting the enemy. However, you'll have a better chance of finding them if you look for them in “Heavy Sacks” and treasure chests. You can use Glyphs to instantly enchant weapons.
Step 2. Check the Inventory (a bag containing items and equipment) to find the weapon you want to enchant
To open Inventory, open the Start menu, select the “Inventory,” option and select “Weapons” to see all the weapons you have.
Step 3. Press the triangle button (for PS4) or the "Y" button (for Xbox One) to open additional options for the highlighted weapon
After that, a menu containing several different options will appear on the screen.
Step 4. Select the “Enchant” option on the menu
Highlight the “Enchant” option and press the “X” button (for PS4) or the “A” button (for Xbox One) to select it. After that, a menu showing all the Glyphs that can be used on weapons will appear on the screen.
Step 5. Enchant the weapon
Move the menu up and down to find the Glyph you want to use. If you've found a Glyph that you want to use as an enchantment for your weapon, press the "X" button (for PS4) or the "A" button (for Xbox One). After that, the enchanting process on the weapon will be carried out.
Use enchanted weapons to fight enemies in the game Elder Scrolls Online. Note that you can only enchant the same weapon once
Method 2 of 2: Enchanting Weapons from Scratch
Step 1. Pick up items from enemies, chests, and other places to find Runestones
You need one Potency Rune, Essence Rune, and Aspect Rune each to make a Glyph. If you want to make more than one Glyph, you'll need to find several Runestones for each type.
These runestones have the following effects: Potency affects levels; Essence affects Runestone's function; and Aspect affects the quality
Step 2. Find the Enchanting Table in a big city
The Enchanting Table icon is a crystal on the map. Usually this item can be found in the Mages Guild building.
Step 3. Enable Enchanting Table
To do so, approach the Enchanting Table and press the "X" button (for PS4) or the "A" button (for Xbox One). After that, a menu showing the Runestones you have will appear on the screen.
Step 4. Create Glyphs
Choose one Runestone for each type (Potency, Essence, and Aspect - you can read the information written under each Runestone to see what effect it has). Once you've selected a Runestone, press the "X" button (for PS4) or the "A" button (for Xbox One) to use the Runestone to create a Glyph.
If you have enough Runestones to make some Glyphs, keep making them
Step 5. Go to the Inventory menu for "Weapon"
Open the “Start” menu, select the “Inventory,” option and select “Weapons” in the Inventory menu. You can find all the weapons you have in the menu.
Step 6. Find the weapon you want to enchant
Press the triangle button (for PS4) or the "Y" button (for Xbox One) to open additional options for the selected weapon.
Step 7. Enchant the weapon
Highlight the “Enchant” option in the list of available options and press the "X" button (for PS4) or the "A" button (for Xbox One) to select it. After that, a menu showing the list of Glyphs you have will appear on the screen. Highlight the desired Glyph and press the "X" button (for PS4) or the "A" button (for Xbox One) to add it to the weapon. The selected weapon will get an enchantment that comes from the Glyph you create.
