This wikiHow teaches you how to find and download APK files for apps on the Play Store, using the web browser on your Android device or computer.
Step
Part 1 of 2: Copying Application URL
Step 1. Launch Google Play Store on Android device
Launch the Play Store by searching for and touching the icon
in the Apps menu.
You can also open the Play Store through a web browser on your computer, and download the APK file onto your computer
Step 2. Find and tap on the app for which you want to download the APK file
You can browse the store categories or use the search field at the top.
By tapping on an app, you'll open the information and details for that app on a new page
Step 3. Touch the icon located on the top right
A drop-down menu will be displayed.
Step 4. Touch Share in the drop-down menu
The sharing options will be displayed in the pop-up pane.
Step 5. Select Copy to clipboard in the Share menu
The URL link for the app you selected in the Play Store will be copied.
Now you can paste the link into the APK downloader, and download the APK file for this app
Part 2 of 2: Downloading APK
Step 1. Start the web browser
You can use the browser on your Android device, or the browser installed on your computer.
Step 2. Visit the Evozi APK Downloader page in your browser
Type https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader into the address field, then press Enter or Return on your keyboard.
Alternatively, you can use another APK download site. Do a search on Google for the addresses of third-party APK download sites
Step 3. Paste the URL of the app from Google Play in the box at the top
Hold or right-click the text box and select Paste to to paste the link of the copied app from Google Play Store.
Step 4. Touch or click the blue button that says Generate Download Link
The app you want to download will be found, and a new download link for the APK file will appear.
Step 5. Touch or click the green button that says Click here to download
This button is under the blue option Generate Download Link. The APK file for the app you choose will be instantly downloaded to your tablet, phone or computer.
