Method 1 of 2: Connecting Devices Via Wi-Fi Direct
Step 1. Open the device app list
This list contains all the applications installed on your Android device.
Step 2. Find and touch the icon
After that, the settings menu (“Settings”) will be opened.
Step 3. Touch Wi-Fi on the device settings menu
In this segment, you can change WiFi settings and connect your device with other devices.
Step 4. Slide the WiFi switch to the on position

Step 7. Touch the device to connect it
Once touched, the invitation message will be sent to the destination device. Contacts have 30 seconds to accept the invitation and connect their device to yours via Wi-Fi Direct.
Method 2 of 2: Sharing Images Over Wi-Fi Direct
Step 1. Open the device image gallery
Step 2. Touch and hold the image
Image files will be tagged and new icons will appear at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the icon
This icon is the icon of the sharing feature or “Share”. A new window for selecting applications with which to share files will open after that.
Step 4. Touch Wi-Fi Direct
A list of devices that are ready to be used to send files via Wi-Fi Direct will be displayed afterwards.
Step 5. Touch the device on the list
The contact will receive a notification on their device asking if they want to accept sending files from you. If the submission is accepted, he will get the image you sent to his device.
