This article will teach you how to delete specific musical content, such as artists, albums, or songs, from iPhone.

Method 1 of 2: Erase Music from iPhone Hard Drive
Step 1. Open the iPhone settings menu (“Settings”)
This menu is indicated by a gray gear icon that appears on the home screen.
Step 2. Touch the General option
You can see this option when you swipe up on the screen.
Step 3. Tap on Storage & iCloud Usage option
It's at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Touch the Manage Storage option in the "Storage" section
This segment is at the top of the page.
Step 5. Touch the Music option
This option is indicated by a white icon with a colorful musical note symbol on the front.
Since the applications on this page are organized according to the amount of memory used, the location of the “Music” icon will be determined by the amount of memory it uses
Step 6. Decide what you want to delete
You can remove individual songs on your iPhone from the " All Songs " category at the top of the page, or you can remove artists from the list under " All Songs ". Apart from that, you can also delete them more specifically:
- Touch a more specific artist name to view that artist's " Albums " page.
- Touch a specific album title to see the songs in it.
Step 7. Touch the Edit button
It's in the upper-right corner of any page in the "Music" section.
Step 8. Touch the red circle on the left side of the selection
Make sure you touch the circle next to the song, album, or artist you want to remove from iPhone.
Step 9. Touch the Delete button
It's to the right of the selected content. After that, the selected song, album or artist will be deleted from the “Music” app as well as iPhone storage space.
Step 10. Touch the Done button when done
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. Now, the selected music content has been deleted from the iPhone.
Method 2 of 2: Removing Songs from Music App
Step 1. Open the music app (“Music”)
This app is marked by a musical note icon on a white background.
Step 2. Touch the Library tab
It's in the lower-left corner of the screen.
If the "Library" page displays automatically when the app is opened, skip this step
Step 3. Touch the Songs option
It's in the middle of the screen. While you can't delete artist or album content from this app, you can delete individual songs.
Step 4. Touch the song you want to delete
After that, the song will play in the tab at the bottom of the screen.
You may need to scroll through the screen to find the song you want to delete
Step 5. Touch the songs tab
It's a tab at the bottom of the screen. After that, the song page will be displayed.
Step 6. Touch the button…
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen, just below the volume slider.
You may need to swipe the screen first, according to the size of the phone screen
Step 7. Tap on Delete from Library option
It's at the top of the pop-up menu.
Step 8. Touch the Delete Song button
It's at the bottom of the screen. After that, the selected song will be immediately deleted from the iPhone.
