This wikiHow teaches you how to view part of someone's Facebook profile without creating a Facebook account. While you can find out where someone is on Facebook without creating an account, you can't see the person's full profile (such as basic information, photos, or post history).
Step
Method 1 of 2: Using the People Search Page on Facebook
Step 1. Visit with a computer
You cannot access the people search bar on Facebook via mobile.
Step 2. Scroll through the page, then click the Browse link
This link is in the blue link group, at the bottom of the registration page.
Step 3. Click the white search bar on the right side of the page
This search bar is labeled Search for people.
Step 4. Enter the first and last name of the user you want to search with proper spelling
If you've tried searching for people on this page and can't find them, try searching by their nickname or another spelling of the person's name. (eg "Icha" for a person named "Annisa", or "Gede" for a person named "I Gede Amat").
Enter the code that appears on the screen to verify the search query
Step 5. Click Search on the right of the search bar to start the search
Facebook will search for profiles with the name you entered.
Step 6. Pay attention to the search results
If you can't find the profile in question, you may need to do a Google search.
You cannot click on a profile from the search results. But, at least, you can find out someone's whereabouts on Facebook this way
Method 2 of 2: Searching for Profiles via Browser
Step 1. Click on the address bar of the browser
The white bar at the top of this browser may have text in it. Sometimes, certain Facebook profiles don't appear on Facebook people's search pages, but can be tracked via Google.
Step 2. Enter site:facebook.com "FirstNameLastname" into the browser's address bar
Replace "Firstname" with the first name of the person you want to search for, and "Last name" with the last name.
For example, you can search for Julia Perez's profile by entering the site:facebook.com keyword "Yuli Rachmawati"
Step 3. Press Return (Mac) or Enter (PC) to start searching.
Step 4. Click the search result to display the profile
Generally, you can see the name and profile photo of the person you are looking for.
You can also perform a search by image to make sure the search results match
Step 5. Pay attention to the search results
If the person you're looking for has a public profile on Facebook, you can see their profile photo, name, and other information that is set as public on their profile.
Tips
- Ask your friends for help to view the search results profile. Make sure the friend is also friends on Facebook with the person you want to view the profile for.
- In some cases, we recommend that you create a fake Facebook profile with a spam-only account. When you're done searching, you can delete the Facebook account you just created.
Warning
- Most Facebook users protect the information in their profiles. The protected information can only be accessed by their respective friends. If the Facebook profile of the person you want to search is protected, you can't even see their profile picture.
- If the Facebook user you want to search for chooses to hide their profile from search engines, Google and the People page on Facebook will not help you.
