The Snapchat profile page is very simple, only showing the username and profile photo of the account owner. You can view profiles of friends, people who added you as a friend, or people who sent you chat messages. However, you need to use the app to view other people's profiles. Snapchat has also removed the feature to view the contacts of your close friends. For now, you can only see your best friends. This wikiHow teaches you how to view a short profile of a user on Snapchat.
Step
Step 1. Open the Snapchat app
This application is marked with a yellow icon containing a ghost logo.
Type in the account username and password if you haven't logged in automatically
Step 2. Swipe down the screen on any page
After that, your user page will be displayed.
Step 3. Tap on My Friends option
It's at the bottom of the screen, below your Snapchat photo.
Step 4. Touch the desired friend's name
Select the name of the friend whose profile you want to view. His profile will be displayed briefly and only contains his display name, username, zodiac symbol (if he added birthday information), number of posts (snaps) uploaded, and profile photo.
- If someone who isn't on your friends list sends you a post or message, you can view their profile by touching and holding down their name in the chat list.
- On some user profiles, you can see emojis that indicate how often the user is exchanging photos/videos with you or someone else:
- ️ - This user has replayed the post in the last 24 hours.
- ? - You and the user are close friends (you both send photos/videos to each other the most).
- ❤ - Close friends for two whole weeks.
- ? - Close friends for two whole months.
- ? - You are good friends with the user (the two of you do send a lot of photos/videos, but you are not good friends yet).
- ? - You are having fun sending photos/videos with that user. You both exchange photos/videos daily and get feedback.
- ? - The user is a verified user, celebrity, or public figure using Snapchat.
