After time has passed, some of your Pinterest boards may no longer be of interest. Instead of keeping them, you can tidy up the arrangement of the boards by removing unnecessary boards. The process is very easy and takes only a minute.

Method 1 of 3: Deleting Pinterest Boards
Step 1. Open Pinterest
Step 2. Go to profile
Find the board you want to delete.
Step 3. Click the Edit button
This button is below the board you want to delete.
Alternatively, you can open the board and find the tab that says Edit Board
Step 4. You will be taken to the edit page
You will see a Delete Board button in the lower left corner. Click this button to delete the board.
Step 5. A small window will appear to confirm your request
Click the Delete board button. Finished.
Method 2 of 3: Leaving the Pinterest Groups Board
If you've joined a group board on Pinterest and you want to leave the board, here's what to do.
Step 1. Open Pinterest
Step 2. Open the group board you want to leave
Step 3. Click the Edit button at the bottom of the board
The Edit page will appear.
Step 4. Scroll down the list of pinners (pinners), find your name
Step 5. Click Leave if you find your name
This button is to the right of your name in the list.
Step 6. Done
You are no longer part of the group board.
Method 3 of 3: Secret Board
If you want to delete a board for fear that other people will see your collection of pictures (such as planning to buy a gift or just containing your secret wish), instead of deleting your board it is better to create a secret board.
Step 1. Open Pinterest
Step 2. Scroll down the Pinterest profile page
You will see an empty box with the words Secret Boards and a padlock symbol next to it.
Step 3. Click on Create a Secret Board
A number of secret board slots are available, choose the first one.
Step 4. You will be taken to the secret board creation page
Enter the name.
Step 5. Make sure that Secret is selected
Step 6. Hit Create Board
Step 7. Decide if you want to share it with others
If so, click the Edit Board button. You will be taken to the Edit Board page. Enter the email addresses of these people and press Invite. Click the Save Changes button to complete the invitation.
Step 8. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page
See if the board has appeared. Now you can start pinning it.
Tips
- After the board is cleared you have to take pictures one by one if you want to start the same topic again.
- The secret board can only be revealed if the secret tab is opened.
