This step assumes you are using Windows. Turn on the computer, then enter safe mode by pressing F8 while the computer is turned on. You will see a list of options for starting the computer. Use the arrow keys to select safe mode, then press Enter to select.
Step 2. Right-click My Computer, then select Properties
Step 3. Select the Hardware tab, then select Device Manager.
Step 4. Click the "+" sign next to the monitor image
You will see a list of graphics hardware, such as Intel Integrated Graphics.
Step 5. Right-click on the integrated graphics device, then select Disable, instead of Uninstall so that the graphics card installation process is not problematic.
Step 6. Exit Windows, then shut down the computer
Step 7. Open the computer cover and insert the graphics card in the empty slot
Step 8. Connect the monitor cable to the graphics card
When you log in, the computer will display a low resolution until you install the driver. The computer will detect the new graphics card, and you can follow the graphics card installation guide. Sometimes, you can use the installation program, instead of the Found New Hardware window..
