While the trend of dressing like Harry Potter book characters is long gone, there's always a reason to emulate the style of your favorite book character! You can easily achieve the Hermione Granger look thanks to the right clothes, hairstyles and magical accessories. So, get started and get your costume ready for your Halloween party!

Part 1 of 3: Making Outfits
Step 1. Wear white clothes
Look for a plain white button down shirt.
Step 2. Prepare the skirt
Choose a gray or black skirt that is almost knee-high.
Step 3. Choose a vest and tie
Use a gray or black V-neck vest. Choose a Gryffindor colored tie (red and golden yellow).
You can wear a button down cardigan instead of a vest, especially if you're not going to wear a cape
Step 4. Choose socks and shoes
Look for knee-high socks in a solid color, such as gray or black. Wear simple stylish black or brown shoes, such as Mary Jane or loafers.
Step 5. Put on the robe
You can buy them at a school clothing store, costume store, or flea clothing store. Make sure you wear a robe that is in good condition because Hermione is always well-groomed.
Try borrowing a robe from a lawyer or academic in your family. If there is, you should take good care of it and not permanently put the Hogwarts label on it
Part 2 of 3: Styling Hair and Makeup
Step 1. Decide on Hermione's hairstyle you want
If you want to imitate the style of little Hermione, choose a large, bushy hairstyle. If you want a teen Hermione look, opt for limp curls that are pinned to the side of your head.
Remember, Hermione has medium brown hair. Therefore, do not choose a bright brown or blonde color
Step 2. Style your hair
If you're copying little Hermione, blow dry your hair (blow dry), then comb through to create lots of volume. Do not use hairspray, but let the hair remain curly and limp. For easy wavy hair, rub mousse into damp hair, divide hair in half, and braid each section. You will have two braids on each side of the head. Let your hair dry before undoing the braid. Your hair should now be tangled and wavy.
Step 3. Try not to use a lot of makeup
Hermione was not a person who dressed fashionable and liked to wear makeup. So keep your appearance natural. Try using concealer, regular powder, and a little blush. Use a pale pink lip gloss or a matte lipstick for a teen Hermione look.
Step 4. Apply eye makeup, if desired
If you want a teen Hermione look, wear natural eye makeup, such as taupe or beige, and avoid eyeliner. Use regular mascara and keep eye makeup simple.
Avoid eye makeup if you're getting the little Hermione look, but try filling in your eyebrows to make them look bold
Part 3 of 3: Choosing Accessories
Step 1. Bring some books
You can simply carry it directly or use a book bag. Bring books on magical topics and make covers using brown kraft paper. After that, design the cover and give it an appropriate title. For example, you might write "Muggle Studies," "Divination," or "Potions."
If you're using a book bag, fill it almost to the brim with a book-sized object because a real book will be too heavy. Try finding a small empty cardboard or Styrofoam box and putting it in your bag, under the original books you designed
Step 2. Put on Time-Turner
Find a small hourglass and attach it to a gold chain, then wear it around your neck. If you can, try to find an hourglass surrounded by a ring. This is the Time-Turner that Hermione uses to attend all of her classes, as told in the book "The Prisoner of Azkaban."
Step 3. Attach the Hogwarts label to the robe
Create or purchase a Hogwarts logo tag that represents the four houses. You can also create S. P. E. W labels. the silver that Hermione wore in support of the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare. Use silver or aluminum foil and cardboard. Write down S. P. E. W. with decorative letters.
Step 4. Bring the magic wand
You can buy or make your own. If you plan to make your own, determine how realistic you want the sticks to be. You can make them out of rolled decorative paper, or you can carve them yourself. Whichever method you choose, try to keep the length of the stick no more than 30 cm.
