There are some people who want their cell phone number to remain private. If you are too, and you are an AT&T user who frequently receives calls from unknown numbers and even telemarketers, you can register for a number blocking service and/or join a "Do Not Call" service. Find out how below.

Part 1 of 4: Researching Mobile Numbers

Step 1. Write down the mobile number you want to block

Make sure you write down the 10-digit phone number you want to block.

AT&T can't block anonymous numbers from phones. If the number you don't like is from a "Private Number" or "Anonymous", you should ask the caller or telemarketer to remove your number from their contact list and stop calling you in the future.
You should register your mobile number with the " Do Not Call " service, regardless of the wireless service used. This service is the cheapest option to block unwanted phone numbers.

Part 4 of 4: Buying AT&T Smart Limits
