With the rise of portable MP3 players, now you can easily download MP3 files. Unfortunately, you can't play CDs containing MP3 files to a regular CD player, or copy WAV files to an MP3 player. You can rip music from CDs to MP3s with Windows Media Player, which is available on every Windows computer. Follow this guide to start copying music from CD to MP3.
Step
Step 1. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of the computer screen
Step 2. Select Programs, then click Windows Media Player.
Step 3. Once Windows Media Player opens, click on Tools from the menu bar
Step 4. Click the Options button
Step 5. Go to the Rip Music tab
Step 6. Select the location to save the converted music file by clicking the Change button
After that, click OK.
Step 7. Click the arrow button in the right corner of the menu, then select MP3 to automatically copy music from CD to MP3 format
After that, click OK.
Step 8. Click the Rip tab, then set the Rip CD automatically when inserted option to Never so that the conversion process doesn't start as soon as the CD is inserted
Step 9. Insert the CD you want to copy into the CD/DVD-ROM drive
Step 10. Select the songs you want to copy in MP3 format on the Rip page
Step 11. Click Start Rip in the right corner of the Rip window to start the copying process
One by one, the song status will change from Pending to Ripped. Wait for the copying process to complete. The copying process will take a few moments.
Step 12. Open the folder where the converted music is stored to ensure that the conversion process runs perfectly
Make sure the converted file has an MP3 extension.
