Method 1 of 2: Using Adobe Reader DC

Step 1. Open the PDF document via Adobe Reader
Run the Adobe Reader program with the letter icon “ Aunique white color. After that, click the menu File ” on the menu bar at the top of the screen, click “ Open… ”, select the PDF document you want to type and click “ Open ”.
If you don't have Adobe Reader, it's available for free from get.adobe.com/reader and works on Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems

Step 2. Click the highlighter tool
This tool is indicated by a marker icon located on the right side of the toolbar, at the top of the program window.

Step 3. Place the cursor at the beginning of the text you want to mark

Step 4. Click and hold the mouse, then drag the cursor over the part of the text you want to highlight

Step 5. Release the click when done
Now your selected text is marked.

Step 6. Click File on the menu bar and select Save from the drop-down menu.
After that, the bookmarks you added will be saved in the document.
Method 2 of 2: Using Preview on a Mac Komputer

Step 1. Open the PDF document via Preview
Double-click the blue Preview program icon that looks like a stack of screenshots, then click the “ File ” on the menu bar and select “ Open… ” from the drop-down menu. Select a file from the dialog box and click the “ Open ”.
Preview is Apple's built-in image review program that's automatically included in most versions of MacOS

Step 2. Click the highlighter tool
This marker icon is in the center-right side of the toolbar that appears at the top of the window.
To change the color of the marker tool, click the downward-pointing arrow to the right of the marker icon and select the color you want the text to be marked with

Step 3. Place the cursor at the beginning of the text you want to mark

Step 4. Click and hold the mouse, then drag the cursor over the text you want to highlight

Step 5. Release the click when done
Now the selected text will be marked.
